Naxos is the largest island in the Cyclades and one of Greece’s best destinations for a mix of beautiful beaches, traditional villages, ancient ruins, Greek food, mountains, and relaxed island life. Compared with Santorini and Mykonos, Naxos is generally more laid-back and often better value.

The island’s iconic landmark—a huge marble gateway from an unfinished ancient temple of Apollo. It’s especially beautiful at sunset.

2. Naxos Town (Chora)

3. Agios Prokopios Beach 🏖️
