The Monte Christo was solid, pancakes too. Coffee's genuinely good. Place has a bit of an attitude and prices are higher than nearby spots, but the flavors are different enough that I get it. Mixed crowd of locals and tourists the whole time I was there. That says something.

The staff remembered us and even shut the door when they saw me shiver. Meat took a while, but they warned us first. Portions are solid.

Decent burger spot near the Acropolis. Had the cheeseburger, cooked properly, juicy enough. Place has a nice vibe, not too touristy. Service was fine, no complaints. Price felt a bit steep for what it was, but you're paying for the location. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're in the area and need a quick bite, it does the job.

The pappardelle was the highlight for me—so fresh, with a sauce that felt light but full of flavor. Gnocchi was good too, though I wish there was a bit more of it. Place was buzzing, so it got a little loud at times, but the staff kept things moving. I'd come back just for that pasta again.

The gelato here is seriously rich—still some of the best I've found in the area. Staff stayed patient even with a line of people taking forever to decide.

Found this place by accident and the open kitchen really got me. Watched the team cook while waiting for my food. You could tell everything's made fresh. Would come back just for that.

The hummus with nuts on top was genuinely good, maybe the best I've had lately. Falafel wrap was crispy too. Just wish they'd skip the fries in the chicken wrap. Cozy enough inside.

Pasta was fresh, not the dried stuff. Pesto and bolognese both solid, but the pesto had more flavor. Portions are big for what you pay. Place gets busy around 1pm, took a bit to get the check. Fine if you're not in a rush.

The music was great, food solid, and honestly the prices felt fair for what you got. We ordered a few dishes and nothing felt overpriced, which is rare around here. Portions were decent too. I'd come back just for that balance, especially on a regular weeknight when you don't wanna spend too much.

Truffle pizza here was so good, crispy base and all 🍕 Bit pricey but perfect for a catch-up with friends.

The spinach and ricotta ravioli was really good, but honestly the portion felt a bit small for the price. Cute space though, I'd probably come back just for the vibe.

Service was the highlight here - friendly and quick even when the place got busy. Sat outside on the square, nice vibe. Portions were decent for the price too.

The staff make this place. Our waitress actually took time to explain the traditional Greek dishes, patient and smiling the whole time. Food was filling too, even tasted good reheated the next day.

Came here for the first time last week and honestly, the outdoor seating in Kolonaki is the reason to go. Got the moussaka — proper homemade feel, not fancy, just comforting. Yeah, it’s a bit touristy, but the food holds up. Been around since 1936 and you can tell. Would sit outside again for sure.

We came for dinner on a hot night and sat outside. The setting is really something, you feel like you're not in the city anymore. Food was mostly good, the grilled octopus was the best thing we ordered. But honestly, the portions are on the smaller side for what you pay. I left still a bit hungry, which is always a letdown. Fine for a one-off, but I wouldn't make it a regular spot.

Stopped by for lunch, grabbed a table outside. Staff actually chilled the beer glasses beforehand - small thing but I noticed. Had the Greek salad and a lamb dish, both solid. Nothing fancy but honest food. Place was busy but not chaotic. Decent spot if you're in the area and want something straightforward.

The food was solid but service got a bit slow once the place filled up. We waited a while for our mains, but honestly the dishes made up for it. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends 🙂

Came for the sunset, honestly the view alone is worth it. Terrace looks straight over the water. Got the moussaka and some grilled octopus — both solid, pretty generous portions. Food matched the scenery, which doesn't happen often. Place gets busy around golden hour though, so grab a spot early if you can.

Pasta was properly al dente, which is rare to find around here. Staff let us take our time even though it got busy. Parking's a pain but that's Nea Smyrni for you.

The backyard seating is a nice escape from the city noise, though smokers do use the area. House wine was good and fairly priced.

Been coming here for a while now, and the gardoumba still gets me every time. It's got that rich, savory thing going on that I haven't found elsewhere. Staff's always been decent, never pushy, just easy to talk to if you want. Place hasn't slipped, which is more than I can say for a lot of spots. Solid choice when you're in the area.

Stopped by for dinner and grabbed a glass of their house red—decent pour, paired well with the tagliatelle special. Food's solid, no complaints there. Prices though... felt a bit much for the portion size. Sat on the semi-open porch and yeah, the smoke drifts in from outside. Not ideal but I'd still come back for the pasta.

Small spot, but the interior is nicer than you'd expect from the outside. Staff were genuinely friendly, not the fake kind. Food was solid—good variety, even for vegetarians. I grabbed a quick lunch there and it worked well. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Been here twice now and honestly the food holds up. First time I got the moussaka, second time tried the grilled octopus — both solid. Place has this cozy vibe that makes you wanna stay longer. Not the cheapest but not crazy either. Left full both times, which is all I really ask for.

Decent souvlaki spot in Athens. Taste was solid, service fine. Bit of an attitude from the staff, but nothing major. Fair for the price.

Stopped by for a coffee — place looks really nice inside, owner was friendly when I walked in. But the coffee itself was just okay, nothing special for what they charge. Maybe I’d try something else next time, but not rushing back just for that.

The tuna sashimi was the standout—really fresh, melt-in-your-mouth good. Rolls were just okay though, and honestly, a bit pricey for what you get.

The vibe here is what got me—lively, fun, easy to stay for a while. I had a fresh salad with grilled chicken, and honestly the greens tasted really crisp, like they were prepped that morning. Drinks were solid, nothing crazy, but fine. Maybe a bit loud for a quiet chat, but I'd come back for the energy.

Stopped in for a quick coffee and ended up returning every morning. Pastries were fresh and the staff held our luggage while we figured out travel plans. Pretty good spot.
