Lovely, bright space, perfect for a relaxed afternoon. The drinks list is impressive. Staff were genuinely friendly, which made all the difference. My only small note is that the service got a bit slow when it got busy. Still, a very pleasant spot.

This spot's become our Saturday morning ritual. The scrambled eggs are always so fluffy, and the staff never forget to bring a water bowl for our pup. Just a lovely, relaxed start to the weekend.

Eliese was so friendly and attentive, even on her trial shift. Really made the evening feel relaxed.

Popped in on a busy Saturday. The bar area is dog-friendly, which was nice. It was pretty crowded though, had to wait a bit for a seat.

The staff here are so nice, even when it's packed. Cydni and Suraj were lovely. They really took the time to explain the ingredients in the specials, which I appreciated. Made choosing a healthy option much easier.

Lovely historic pub, the traditional wood decor is really charming.

Multiple screens showing the game, perfect for catching the match. Sat outside, which was nice. Decent spot for sports.

The ale and cider selection is really impressive, probably the best around here. The staff knew their stuff and gave me a solid recommendation for a local cider I hadn't tried before.

The scones were lovely, crisp outside and fluffy inside. But the afternoon tea set is a bit pricey for what you get.

The dirty fries were a real highlight, so much flavour and surprisingly filling for a small plate. The cocktails looked great but service was a bit slow, had to wait a while to order a second round.

The rum tasting with Tom was good. He had his own notes and knew his stuff. For the price though, I expected a slightly bigger pour of each sample.

Been coming here for years, and it's the consistency that keeps me coming back. That historic building and the Tudor vibe never get old. The food's always solid - had the steak and ale pie again last week, and it was just as good as ever. A proper, reliable spot.

Stopped by for a burger and a pint. The burger itself was decent, but the bun was a bit dry and cold. Service was friendly and quick though, which is what you want on a casual visit.

The steak tasting menu was a nice change of pace. The meat was cooked just right, which I really appreciated. My favourite part was the passion fruit soda from their soft drinks list – it felt fresh and not overly sweet. A good option if you're looking for something lighter.

The bar area is modern and clean, perfect for a relaxed drink. The cocktails are well-made and reasonably priced, especially with their offers.

Lovely spot for a drink by the canal. The outdoor seating is the main draw, just watching the boats drift past. My Aperol Spritz was nice, though a bit on the small side for the price. A good place to unwind.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome, which really enhances the experience.

Izzy and Craig were fantastic. They really took the time to go through the allergen list with me, which I appreciated. Made sure my dish was prepared exactly as needed. Friendly and on the ball.

Love the vibe here, and their wine list is solid. One of my go-to spots for a relaxed evening.

Cocktails were solid. The 2-for-1 deal was a nice touch. Got the espresso martini and a classic negroni. Both hit the spot. Would go back just for that.

Nice spot for a casual dinner. The vibe is warm and relaxed, exactly what I wanted after work. The lighting was just right, not too bright. A solid choice when you just want to unwind without any fuss.

Service was attentive. Staff noticed we were celebrating and added a few nice touches to the table without us asking. Made the occasion feel a bit more considered. Efficient and unobtrusive.

Lawrence was a great teacher, really knew his stuff. The space itself was cool, relaxed vibe for learning about their beers.

Cosy spot, dog-friendly. Had the Sunday roast, beef was spot on. Gravy could've been thicker. Nice pint to go with it.

Lovely hosts, they really make you feel welcome. The owner always has a moment for a chat.
