English menu. Friendly staff. The free salmon sashimi was a nice surprise. Solid lunch spot.

The Oppai-yaki was a perfect starter for sharing! Loved how the sweet onions balanced the tender oysters. 🍶

Micchan's sake recommendation was spot on.

The taiyaki was great, came out super hot. The skin was thin and crispy, and the red bean filling was generous, even all the way to the tip. Just a nice, simple treat.

The grilled eel was fresh and quite nice. The dashi broth was really good, one of the best I've had. It's a fine spot, and watching the chef work through the window is a pleasant touch.

The pancakes were fluffy and the parfait had just the right amount of sweetness. The ordering system was a bit confusing, but the overall vibe of the place was really relaxed and comfortable.

A peaceful lunch inside the shrine grounds. I appreciated the focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients in their set menu. The vegetables tasted just-picked, which is so important to me. A very calm spot for a mindful meal.

Stumbled on this basement spot at Piole. Grabbed the super spicy dandan noodles for a quick lunch. The spice level was solid, exactly what I was after. The broth had a good depth. Menu looks interesting, might go back to try the pho next time.

The mochi barley noodles were so chewy and fun to eat with friends! The texture is totally unique, not like soba or udon. We kept talking about it the whole time. A bit pricey, but worth it for the experience.

A popular spot, so booking ahead is key if you want a table inside. We walked in and got the terrace, which was nice, but the indoor seating looked much cozier. The service was friendly and made the wait feel shorter.

Been coming here for years. The 1000-yen set is my go-to, good portion and always consistent. Staff are friendly, they always say goodbye when you leave. Simple place, does the job.

The 2-5 PM happy hour is my new go-to. For 1000 yen, you get three drinks and two small plates. Perfect for a chill afternoon with a friend. The plum wine highball was a nice surprise! 🍹

Only six seats at the counter, so it feels very intimate. The owner is super friendly and the jazz music was a nice touch. Had the shoyu ramen—the broth was rich but not heavy, and the noodles had a good bite. A solid spot.

The Dark Mocha Frappuccino was good, but the real moment was when the barista offered extra chocolate sauce on the house. Just a small, kind gesture that felt genuine.

Came for a late Sunday lunch and it was packed! My order was taken while I was still in line, which was smart. Got the oil sardine and corned beef pasta I always hear about. The pasta was nicely al dente, and the combo of bonito flakes and green onions in that soy sauce base was so savory. Really hits the spot if you like umami flavors.

Stopped by for a quick bite. The Hinepon was good, chewy chicken thigh with bone in. The ponzu sauce was light, not too heavy. Perfect with a cold beer.

The focus on local ingredients really shines through in every dish. The seasonal menu is thoughtfully crafted, and the flavors are simply outstanding.

The staff knew their stuff. I asked about a wine to go with the grilled octopus, and their suggestion was spot-on. Made the whole dish come together. Friendly service, too.

Nice spot for a quick meal alone or with a couple friends. The soba is decent, and they have a few beers to go with it.

Been coming here for my morning coffee for a while now. It's always solid. Tried the Cheese in Milano Sandwich A this time. The prosciutto and cheese combo is spot on. Really hits the spot.

The road up here is pretty narrow, had to take it slow. Parking is tight, maybe fits six or seven cars at most. Not the easiest spot to find.

The staff were so kind to help with softer food options. They also showed me where to park, which was really helpful.

The lunch menu has so many steak and burger choices! I appreciate that they offer lean cuts and fresh salad sides.

Decent space with tables and counter seats. It's popular at lunch, but they turn tables quickly.

The skirt steak was so tender, and the turmeric rice had a lovely aroma. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted. The portion was generous too.

Came here for a date night. The steak was cooked just right, really tender. The whole vibe was fancy but not stuffy, which was nice. A bit on the pricier side, but you can tell they put care into the food.

Many dishes are skillfully prepared and full of flavor. Notable highlights are the oyster sauce beef fried noodles, the black vinegar shrimp, and the smooth, rich soy milk congee.
