A short walk from Himeji Station's north exit. The sweets are so elegantly presented, it's hard to pick just one. I had a matcha parfait and the bitterness paired nicely with a simple hojicha tea. The shop itself is quite small, so getting a seat might require a bit of patience.

A nice find for a quick bite. The counter seats have power outlets, so I could charge my phone while eating. The draft beer was surprisingly good for the price, a crisp lager that went well with the fried chicken. The chicken itself was just okay, a bit dry. But that beer hit the spot.

The fried oysters were huge and so good. I got a set meal with a mini dessert. For the price, the portion size was really generous.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the attentive service at this restaurant. It's a great place for a special celebration, and I can't wait to return for another memorable meal.

The set with nigiri, a simmered dish, and red miso was pretty good. It's more filling than it looks. A solid lunch option, though the soup was a touch too salty for me.

Been coming here for years, their beef bowl is my go-to. The beef is always tender, onions have that nice sweetness. Simple, but they do it right every time.

Found this place near the station. The owner was so friendly, made ordering easy even though my Japanese isn't great. The food was just right for a simple, comfortable meal. A nice spot to unwind.

Busy lunch spot, so we waited a bit. The vibe is nice, feels like a modern take on Southeast Asia. Had the laksa, which was the main reason for my visit. The broth was rich and the noodles had a good texture. Portion was decent.

The owners grow their own vegetables, you can taste the freshness in the broth. The carrots in my ramen were so crisp and sweet. It did take a while for the food to come out, but you can tell everything is made with care.

The way they serve the pancake is clever. You get two sauces, then add pepper or chili to each quarter. Four different tastes in one dish.

Weekday lunch, the daily sashimi set was solid. Really enjoyed the sea bream chazuke, the broth was delicate. The grilled fish collar side was a nice touch. Their house sake by the glass paired well with the clean flavors. A quiet, pleasant spot for a midday meal.

The oyster set was a bit extravagant but worth it. Plump oysters, and the fried ones were crispy.

Stopped by for the azuki soft serve. It's creamy and the red bean flavor is spot on, not too sweet. The mini size was just right after lunch.

The set meals are a pretty good deal. They include free refills for rice, miso soup, and cabbage. It's a nice touch that makes the meal feel more substantial. The cabbage salad was fresh, though the miso soup was just fine.

The space here is really nice and open, feels relaxing. They even have a smoking section outside, which is pretty handy. Just sat with a latte for a while, good for a quiet break.

Been coming here for years. The staff always remembers my usual order, even when I pop in during quiet hours. That kind of consistent, low-key service is what keeps me coming back.

Came for the lunch set. The 1,500 yen chirashi was surprisingly filling. Portions were generous, and the seafood tasted fresh. Good deal for the price.

A very cozy spot. I spent a lovely afternoon here with a coffee, just reading through some of their travel books. The seats are comfortable and the staff is friendly, which made it easy to stay for a long time. A nice, quiet place to unwind.

Service was quick and friendly, no wonder it's packed at lunch. Got a table without waiting, lucky me.

Coffee's just right. Smooth, not too bitter. Good for a quick pick-me-up.

A minute from Himeji Station. Counter seats have power outlets, good for getting some work done.

The steamed eel and tofu were the reason I came. The eel was soft, almost melting, and the tofu soaked up all that savory broth. The tempura eel was a nice contrast—crispy outside, still tender inside. Really fresh.

The place has a nice Showa-era vibe, feels authentic. The owner was very friendly and attentive, which made it a pleasant visit. The food was decent, though the portions were a bit on the smaller side.
