The chirashi rice had a lovely, subtle vinegar note. Really appreciated the fresh fish selection too. The lunch set is a great deal for the quality of ingredients. Just a bit more seaweed would have been nice.

Really liked how they handled the line! They took our order while we were waiting, so our ramen was practically ready when we got to the table. No awkward staring at the menu after sitting down. Smart system.

The bento box was surprisingly elaborate, with a good mix of Japanese and Western items. Felt homemade, which was nice for the price.

The charcoal-grilled chicken was pretty good. The hinepon had a nice smoky flavor, and the ponzu with raw onions was a decent match. A solid choice for a casual dinner.

Been coming here for years. Their signature Chinese noodles in the light dashi broth is just so comforting. Always get the tempura on top, makes it feel complete. A real classic.

The sangria was really good. Shared a bottle with friends, made for a nice evening. The price felt fair for what we got.

The tempura was crisp, not greasy. Eel portion is on the smaller side, but the set comes with free rice refills. Good for a quick, filling lunch near the office.

Stumbled upon it after visiting Himeji Castle. The handmade soba in the princess set was pretty good, and reasonably priced.

This place has been around since 1975, so you know it's a local spot. I got the almond toast everyone talks about. The bread itself had this interesting, almost nutty flavor. The almond spread was sweet and rich. For the price, the portion was really generous—I was full until dinner.

The weekday lunch special with noodles for 90 yen is such a nice deal. I went around 1 PM and it was quiet, very relaxing. The sushi that comes with it was fresh. A comfortable spot for a solo lunch.

The dim sum lunch is a must-try! Each dish is light and flavorful, making it a great choice for those who appreciate authentic Chinese cuisine in a comfortable setting.

The carrot cake was deliciously moist and warm, but the real star was how well it paired with a glass of tawny port. A very satisfying dessert.

The robatayaki set is generous. The grilled scallops with butter and soy sauce were the star, so hot and tasty. I had a nice glass of sake with it, a simple pairing that worked well.

Spring strawberry daifuku was a nice surprise, with a unique bean paste.

Been coming here for years. Their almond toast is the real deal - thick bread, lots of topping. Simple, but it always hits the spot.

First time having conger eel sashimi here. The texture was very clean, like sea bream. The rice bowl was good too, with a lighter taste than unagi. I really appreciated the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. It was easy to have a peaceful meal.

First time having raw egg over rice. The eggs were really fresh, had a natural sweetness to them. Not what I expected, but I liked it.

Been coming here for years, and the tsukemen is always solid. The noodles have that perfect chew every time.

The salted butter bread is so addictive, perfect for sharing with friends!

Came for the chicken skewers. The menu has so many parts to choose from, it's a bit overwhelming. Ended up getting the tsukune, which was really tasty and juicy. For the price, the portion was decent. Could eat a few more of those.

My bean paste donut expert friend gave this his stamp of approval. The dough was so fluffy, and the filling wasn't overly sweet. The melon bread was a nice surprise too—really soft and warm. A solid find!
