Came for a late Sunday lunch and it was packed! My order was taken while I was still in line, which was smart. Got the oil sardine and corned beef pasta I always hear about. The pasta was nicely al dente, and the combo of bonito flakes and green onions in that soy sauce base was so savory. Really hits the spot if you like umami flavors.

Stopped by for a quick bite. The Hinepon was good, chewy chicken thigh with bone in. The ponzu sauce was light, not too heavy. Perfect with a cold beer.

The focus on local ingredients really shines through in every dish. The seasonal menu is thoughtfully crafted, and the flavors are simply outstanding.

The skirt steak was so tender, and the turmeric rice had a lovely aroma. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted. The portion was generous too.

A short walk from Himeji Station's north exit. The sweets are so elegantly presented, it's hard to pick just one. I had a matcha parfait and the bitterness paired nicely with a simple hojicha tea. The shop itself is quite small, so getting a seat might require a bit of patience.

A nice find for a quick bite. The counter seats have power outlets, so I could charge my phone while eating. The draft beer was surprisingly good for the price, a crisp lager that went well with the fried chicken. The chicken itself was just okay, a bit dry. But that beer hit the spot.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the attentive service at this restaurant. It's a great place for a special celebration, and I can't wait to return for another memorable meal.

The road up here is pretty narrow, had to take it slow. Parking is tight, maybe fits six or seven cars at most. Not the easiest spot to find.

The staff were so kind to help with softer food options. They also showed me where to park, which was really helpful.

The lunch menu has so many steak and burger choices! I appreciate that they offer lean cuts and fresh salad sides.

Decent space with tables and counter seats. It's popular at lunch, but they turn tables quickly.

Many dishes are skillfully prepared and full of flavor. Notable highlights are the oyster sauce beef fried noodles, the black vinegar shrimp, and the smooth, rich soy milk congee.

The fried oysters were huge and so good. I got a set meal with a mini dessert. For the price, the portion size was really generous.

The set with nigiri, a simmered dish, and red miso was pretty good. It's more filling than it looks. A solid lunch option, though the soup was a touch too salty for me.

Weekday lunch, the daily sashimi set was solid. Really enjoyed the sea bream chazuke, the broth was delicate. The grilled fish collar side was a nice touch. Their house sake by the glass paired well with the clean flavors. A quiet, pleasant spot for a midday meal.

The oyster set was a bit extravagant but worth it. Plump oysters, and the fried ones were crispy.

Stopped by for the azuki soft serve. It's creamy and the red bean flavor is spot on, not too sweet. The mini size was just right after lunch.

The space here is really nice and open, feels relaxing. They even have a smoking section outside, which is pretty handy. Just sat with a latte for a while, good for a quiet break.

Been coming here for years. The staff always remembers my usual order, even when I pop in during quiet hours. That kind of consistent, low-key service is what keeps me coming back.

The chirashi rice had a lovely, subtle vinegar note. Really appreciated the fresh fish selection too. The lunch set is a great deal for the quality of ingredients. Just a bit more seaweed would have been nice.

Really liked how they handled the line! They took our order while we were waiting, so our ramen was practically ready when we got to the table. No awkward staring at the menu after sitting down. Smart system.

The bento box was surprisingly elaborate, with a good mix of Japanese and Western items. Felt homemade, which was nice for the price.
