The butter garlic rice with chicken masala was really good. Manoj took care of us well, way better service than that beachside place we tried the night before.

The Sri Lankan curry was packed with flavor, exactly what I was hoping for. The seafood fried rice was solid too. Live music made it feel lively, though it got a bit loud for chatting.

Stopped by for a quick bite — mutton paratha was solid, dosa too. Owner’s friendly, didn’t feel rushed. Portions big for what you pay.

The view is unbeatable, literally right on the sand. Food was decent but portions ran small. Still a nice spot to hang with friends though 🌊

The rice and curry spread was impressive—lots of little dishes in clay pots, all fresh. Owner was friendly too. A cold Lion Lager with it would've been perfect, but the food really stood out on its own.

The staff were so friendly and the whole place had this relaxed beachy feel, even without an ocean view. I had the calamari and it was tender, cooked just right. Portions are pretty generous too. Only thing—the caprioska was small for what they charge. Still, a nice spot to just sit and take your time.

The tuna burger was properly juicy and seasoned well. Prices felt fair too, lower than most spots along the strip. Just wish they'd given me a bit more sauce on the side. 🌴

Tuna steak was solid, cooked just right. Place has a chill vibe, not rushed at all. Prices fair for what you get. Good spot for a quick dinner.

The owner’s car-part sculptures and twinkly lights make the place stand out. Food was fresh, no complaints there. Portions felt a bit small for what we paid, though.

Coffee was good. Needed it bad after Sigiriya climb. Place is small but AC felt amazing. Staff smiled, didnt rush me. Just sat there awhile. Fine stop.

Came here on a random evening, grabbed a seat by the garden. The swing is a nice touch, pretty chill vibe. Had a cold beer and some fresh juice, both hit the spot. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Place is a bit tucked away but easy enough to find. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Climbed Lion Rock in the morning and stopped here for a late lunch. The Mediterranean wrap was decent, packed with veggies and a bit of sauce that worked well. Fresh fruit juice was a good call after the heat. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Few mosquitoes around, but that's pretty normal for the area. Solid spot if you're not looking for meat.

The ghee roast and paneer pepper fry were pretty good. Dosas came out crispy, chutneys were decent too. Fine spot for a casual veg meal.

Loved the open-air vibe but definitely need mosquito repellent 😅 Great spot for a chill catch-up.

The Volcano Maki was decent but honestly I've had better elsewhere. Rainbow Maki and rock shrimp tempura though—those were the real winners. Shrimp had a nice crunch, not too heavy on the sauce. Place was packed on a Tuesday night so expect a bit of a wait. Still, solid spot if you're craving sushi.

Food was solid but the service was a bit all over the place. We waited ages for our order and it came out wrong at first. They fixed it quickly though, so no big deal. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends 😊

The kottu roti here was proper—just the right amount of spice and that smoky wok taste. Paid what the locals pay, no tourist nonsense. Place gets busy but worth squeezing in for a quick bite.

Nice spot to catch the sunset with the bonfire going. Drinks were good, staff friendly enough. Music was decent too. Bit of a walk to get here but worth it for the vibe.

The homemade pasta was really fresh, light and perfectly cooked. I liked that they had a few healthier options on the menu too. Just wish the seating wasn't so close together. Mosquitoes were a bit annoying outside though.

During our stay in Cinnamon Red Colombo, we visited its rooftop bar and restaurant, Cloud Red, multiple times. The rooftop bar offers spectacular views of the city of Colombo throughout the day. The night view of the urban landscape is exceptionally breathtaking. On the first night of our stay, we dropped by the rooftop bar for some drinks after dinner while enjoying the live band music. The bar is frequented by locals to relax themselves especially on Fridays and weekends. The bar serves all kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We also dined in at the restaurant for dinner another night. The restaurant offers tapas including pizzas, mixed platter, rotiza and fries. Our food took a while to arrive but the taste did not disappoint. The food and drinks were reasonably priced.

The chicken biryani was decent but honestly a bit pricey for the portion size. Cozy place though, and Shafan looked after us well.
