The crostini were the highlight—crisp, flavorful, exactly what I needed. They squeezed us in on New Year’s Day without a fuss. Would’ve loved a better wine list to match, though.

The sommelier really knew their stuff—helped us pick a great pairing. Food was fresh and nicely done. Just wish the drinks weren't so pricey. 🍷

The bifteki here was really good, probably the best I've had in a while. Portion size felt fair for the price too. Staff were nice about the gluten-free thing, which I appreciated.

Lovely little café inside one of those old Hanseatic buildings. Had a slice of their cake and honestly the vibe was the highlight — high ceilings, warm light, comfortable chairs. Just wish I'd known about the cash-only thing before ordering, had to run to the ATM. Still, nice spot to sit for a while.

The pistachio gelato was really good—rich and creamy, tasted like actual nuts. Decent spot for a quick treat.

The kitchen shuts down at 9:30, so don't show up late. Flounder was spot on though, really fresh. Would've liked a glass of Riesling with it, but their wine list was a bit thin.

Pizzas were solid—came out hot even though we ordered a big takeaway batch. That’s not always easy. Service was quick for the size of the order. I’d grabbed a bottle of their house red to go with it, worked fine with the margherita. Nothing fancy, but it did the job. Maybe a bit more sauce next time, but overall a decent spot for a group order.

The pork knuckle was spot on—crispy skin, tender inside, proper amount of salt. Been coming here for years, portion sizes stay generous. Meat quality never dropped. Only thing is you don't really need a reservation unless you're a big group. That's it.

We’ve been here a few times now, and the pike-perch and schnitzel are always solid. Service stays friendly without being pushy. The room itself is what gets me though — warm lighting, wooden tables, not too loud even when it fills up. Easy to sit for a while after the meal. Just wish they’d open the windows a bit more in summer.

The lighting in there is something else—soft, warm, makes you want to stay longer. Had the rump steak, cooked just right. Staff knew their menu, no hesitation. Pricey though, but I didn't mind. That kind of evening doesn't happen often.

Decent pizza but kinda small for the price. Staff were friendly enough, just not super attentive. Handy spot if you're staying at the campsite though.

All-you-can-eat sushi for around €18 is a solid deal. Sushi was fresh and the dessert selection surprised me. Service was friendly too. Good spot to hit up with friends before a night out.

The waffle with ice cream, cherries, and whipped cream was the highlight—really good, warm and crispy. The cappuccino though, pretty weak. Service felt a bit all over the place, three different people asked us the same thing. Place itself is fine, nothing special. I'd come back for the waffle, skip the coffee.

The meatballs here are a proper change from all the tourist spots on Rügen. Nothing fancy, just solid food. We keep coming back whenever we're on the island.

The grilled meat had a nice char and the tzatziki was really creamy. Portion felt a bit small for the price though. The little ouzo at the end was a nice touch.

The salmon poke bowl hit the spot. Would've loved a crisp white wine to go with it, but the place doesn't have much of a drink list. Service was quick though.

Stopped by for coffee and a slice of cake. Presentation was nice, taste matched it. Courtyard garden is a decent spot to sit, quiet enough. Service was fine, no complaints. Prices are a bit on the higher side for the portion, but acceptable for the setting. Would go back if I'm in the area.

Decent spot for the area, prices are fair. Had the schnitzel, portion was solid and cooked right. Service was quick enough, though it does get packed in summer, so book ahead if you can. Not fancy, but you leave full without feeling ripped off. That's what counts for me.

Solid fish place, we went with a group of friends and everyone found something they liked. Portions are decent for the price. Staff didn't rush us even when it got busy. 👍

Order at the window, grab a buzzer, and watch the harbour while you wait. Fish and chips were properly crispy, herring roll tasted fresh. Friendly service even when it got busy.

Tried the Swedish apple tart and the apple meringue tart. Both were solid, homemade crusts actually taste like butter. Café sits right in the pedestrian zone, easy to find. Cozy enough inside, though it got a bit warm with the afternoon sun. Fine for a quick coffee stop if you're already wandering around.

Stepped in for lunch and the place looks like a time capsule. Old radios, vintage signs, all that stuff. Staff noticed me looking and came over to explain a few pieces. Nice touch, actually. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but that retro vibe is the real draw here. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

Came here twice during our week on Rügen. Fish was spot on both times, same quality. Staff actually remembered us the second time, which never happens. Place gets busy but they don't rush you. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Nice spot right by the castle gardens, view is lovely from the terrace. Had a slice of cake and coffee, both were solid. Prices fair for the area. Inside looks classy too, though I just sat outside. Covered terrace is smart, still nice when it drizzles. Would come back if I'm in the neighborhood again.

The mixed smoked fish platter is huge, seriously. We could barely finish it between two people. I sat near the window and the light was nice, but the chairs are a bit hard after an hour. Pasta was decent too, not what I expected from a fish place. Fine for a casual lunch, just don't expect super comfy seating.

The homemade lemonade and strawberry punch were super refreshing, and the latte macchiato? Honestly one of the best I’ve had in weeks. I sat near the window and the light was nice, but the chairs got a bit uncomfortable after a while. Still, I’d come back for that drink.
