The view over the lake is something else. Food was solid too. Pricey, yeah, but you're paying for the setting. Had a decent meal, nothing crazy, but the scenery made it worth it. If you're in the area and don't mind spending a bit more, it's a good stop.

The Francesinha here is solid. Big portion, sauce has good depth, and the staff clearly know what they're doing. Had the house cake after—decent way to wrap up. Place was busy but service stayed sharp. Not the cheapest, but you're paying for quality. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

The waitress noticed I spilled some sauce on my shirt and actually brought me something to clean it with before I even asked. That was pretty thoughtful. Food came out quick, service was friendly the whole time. Portions are decent for what you pay, nothing crazy but fair. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed the bacalhau. Cooked just right. They even threw in some bread and cheese to start. Solid spot if you're in a hurry.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and ended up staying longer than planned. The live music was a nice touch, not too loud. Had the grilled fish, pretty solid. Prices are okay for what you get. Staff let me take my time, no rush. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than planned. The owner actually sat down and chatted for a bit, which was nice. Food was solid, home-style stuff. Portions are big, I couldn't finish mine. Not fancy at all, but that's the charm. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The view really is something else at sunset. We grabbed a table outside and just watched the sky change while eating. Traditional dishes were solid, portions big enough that we didn't need to order more. Staff was friendly, didn't have to wait long for anything. Would come back just for that view honestly.

The mixed seafood rice was solid, came out fast too. House dessert with espresso hit the spot. Busy at lunch but worth it.

Stopped by for a casual dinner and a few glasses of wine. The pig's ear salad was properly seasoned, fries were a nice surprise. €16 a head with drinks for five people, pretty fair.

The staff here were genuinely kind — I came up short on cash and no card on me, they just sorted it out without making it weird. Service was quick too. That little bit of patience meant a lot. Place gets busy but they don't rush you. Just a good, human moment in the middle of a chaotic day.

That ribeye for €8 caught me off guard—properly cooked, not some chewy mess. Had the cod too, decent portion. House dessert rounded things off fine. Sat outside, river view's a nice touch. Would've liked a better wine list to match the steak, but the price makes up for it.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the duck rice. Honestly one of the best I've had in Tomar. The clay pot chicken looked great too, though I didn't try it. Carlos, the owner, was friendly and made sure everything was alright. Place is small but has a nice local vibe. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The burger was solid — bun soft, patty cooked just right. I liked that they didn't overload it with sauce. Staff were friendly too.

The tosta mista here is solid. Crispy, plenty of cheese, and you pick your bread. Had it with a coffee, worked well together. They make their own gelato too, which is a nice bonus. Place gets busy around lunch, but it's worth squeezing in. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

The staff really took the time to explain the menu in English, which I appreciated. The fish soup was fresh and tasty, though the orange juice seemed a bit pricey for what it was.

Stopped by for brunch last week. Pancakes were the highlight—fluffy, not too sweet, came out hot. Staff handled the rush fine, no long wait for coffee refills. Portion size decent for the price. Place gets busy around noon, so go early if you want a quiet table. Solid option if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a quick bite and honestly the burger was solid. Cooked just right, juicy, no complaints. Staff were friendly enough without hovering. Place is pretty laid back, nothing fancy but does the job. Price felt fair for what you get. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

The fried shrimp were really good—fresh, not greasy at all. I had the mixed seafood plate too, solid. Just be ready to wait a bit since they cook everything to order. I didn’t mind, but if you’re starving, order everything at once. 🦐

This little restaraunt was an excellent find. The host Victor and his wife are very friendly and welcoming, and their food is amazing! Will be coming back for more.

If you want a proper bifana, this is the spot. Just remember they only serve them after 4:30 pm, which caught me off guard the first time. Got the half-meter one and honestly it was enough for two people. Portion size is generous for what you pay, so I wasn't mad about the wait.
