Stopped by for a quick coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. Staff genuinely friendly, not that fake customer-service smile. Flat white was solid, proper temperature, no burnt taste. Place has that relaxed neighborhood feel, easy to just sit and watch people. Only thing, it got a bit busy around noon, but that's on me for the timing.

Came back a second time and they actually remembered us. The Swabian food was solid again, no complaints. Place has that cozy local feel.

Renovation looks great, food’s still solid and cheap. House lemonade is a must. Been coming here for years, never disappoints.

The wine recommendations here are top-notch, and the food harmonizes beautifully. It's a place where even two-star chefs could learn a thing or two!

The duck breast was cooked properly, nice pink in the middle. Sauce had good depth. Portion size felt a bit small for the price though. Left still slightly hungry. Maybe order a starter next time. The taste itself was solid, no complaints there. Just wish there was a bit more on the plate.

The open kitchen and Japanese-style seating are a nice touch. Food came out fast, got the lunch special and was back to work in 40 minutes. Liquid nitrogen on one dish was a fun surprise.

Great spot to hang out with friends, loads of shade in the beer garden 🌳 Paying by card was super easy. Food's just okay though, I'd stick to a cold drink here.

Came here with five friends, no reservation, and they just pushed tables together without making a fuss. Even wore gloves while setting up, which I noticed. Food tasted fresh, not like it was sitting around. Been here a few times now, and it stays consistent. That's mainly why I keep coming back.

Nice to see they actually care about where their meat comes from, and the homemade coleslaw was a solid touch. Also cool that they stock Fritz kola instead of the usual big brands. Felt like a place with a bit of thought behind it, not just another generic spot. Wouldn’t mind going back for that alone.

We stopped by for a late lunch and the owner came over to check if everything was alright. That was nice. Food was solid, nothing fancy but tasty. Portions felt right for the price. Only small thing, the chairs are a bit hard after an hour. Still, I'd come back if I'm in the area.

Huge menu, took me forever to decide. Ended up picking a few things and they were pretty solid. Staff seemed a bit checked out, but the owner was chatting with regulars like old friends. That was nice to see. Maybe not the place for a special night, but fine for a casual bite.

The schnitzels were really good, crispy and not too greasy. Our server was attentive without hovering, which I appreciated. They even made something off-menu for us when we asked, that was a nice touch. Seats were comfortable too, so we didn't feel rushed. Just a heads up, it got a bit busy later in the evening, but nothing bothersome.

Food was solid and portions were generous for the price. Salad bar was a nice bonus. Got busy but we didn't wait too long.

Stumbled in late and my phone was almost dead. The staff didn’t even hesitate, just found me a charger. Got the sarma too, really hit the spot. Nice to find a place that’s not just about the food, you know?

Tried the 5-course menu. The veal cheek was properly tender, sea bass cooked just right. Chef clearly knows what they're doing in the kitchen. Nice spot if you're after something a bit more refined. Maybe not the cheapest option around, but the food does the talking.

The cocktails were solid, but the food didn’t quite match the vibe. Nice spot upstairs though, just a bit loud when it’s packed.

The tagliatelle with chanterelles and salsiccia was really good—pasta cooked just right. Service stayed attentive but never hovered. Would've liked a bit more sauce, but overall a solid dinner.

Came here with a couple of friends before our flight from Memmingen. The Kashmiri chicken was properly spiced, not too heavy. They even handed us English menus without us asking, which was nice. Place is pretty casual, good for a quick bite. Would go back if I’m in the area again. 😊

The outdoor tables under the tree are lovely at sunset. They had decent gluten-free options too, which I appreciated. Service was a bit slow but nothing crazy.

Stopped by for dinner, got the Maultaschen and a house beer. The dumplings were hearty, exactly what you want on a cold evening. Place has that proper rustic feel, wooden tables, low light. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Only thing, it got a bit busy later and the noise picked up. But the food made up for it. Solid spot if you're after honest Swabian cooking.

The outdoor seating is really nice, soft music and umbrellas over every table. We grabbed a late lunch there with friends and ended up staying way longer than planned. Panna cotta was spot on, not too sweet. Pasta was solid, same level as the pizza. Good spot if you want to chill for a while.

Schnitzel was solid. Crispy, not greasy. Breakfast surprised me too, simple but good. Place is basic, no frills, but that's fine. Food does the talking here. Nothing fancy, just honest cooking.

The outdoor seating is nice and the grilled meats were solid. Service was quick too. Prices felt fair for what you get, not cheap but not crazy either.

The tiramisu was the real deal. Soft, coffee-soaked, not too sweet. The place itself is small and a little tucked away, but that’s part of the charm. Cozy lighting, felt like we could sit there for hours. Service was fine, nothing flashy. Just a solid, quiet dinner.

Sunday lunch was really nice. The buffet had a good selection of local stuff, and the roast pork with crackling was done just right. Staff were friendly, made us feel looked after. Only thing, it got a bit busy and loud by the time we finished. Still, a solid spot for a relaxed meal.

Set lunch was solid — 15 euros for fish, chicken, veal, all well done. Portions just right. Service a bit slow at first. Quiet room though, that helped.

Nice little spot in Aalen's old town. Had the Dalmatian plate—decent, though clearly toned down for local palates. Good intro if you're new to Balkan food. Outdoor seating was a plus.

The restaurant has a charming decor and a busy vibe, which adds to the overall experience. The food is consistently good, and the staff is attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
