The spritz was solid—big pour, not too sweet. Cocktail list is short but they know what they're doing. Prices sting a little though. Place gets packed and the bar staff gets stretched thin, took a while to get the second round. But that first drink was worth it.

The Café de la Poste is a gem for anyone looking to experience authentic local flavors, all while enjoying a stunning view.

The owner personally greeted us and that set a nice tone. Had the game dish—really well done for autumn. Lunch special is decent value too.

Friendly staff, no complaints there. Food was fresh, looked homemade, nice presentation. Had the pasta, solid choice. Place felt welcoming, not too loud. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd go back.

Nice terrace right by the lake, proper sailing club feel. Perch fillets were good but honestly could've been a bigger portion.

Tried the steak tartare—Valais beef and the Moroccan version with spice. Both well seasoned. Service was efficient, no complaints. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Great service but the food was below average. I could make a better salad at home! We won’t be returning, unfortunately…

The food was delicious, and the ambience was great, but what really made the experience was the quality of service. The staff were so warm and inviting. Would definitely visit again when in Lausanne, and would recommend to a friend 🩵

The burger and poke bowl were solid picks, and the TiramiSuisse dessert looked almost too pretty to eat 😅. It was a fun way to end the meal. The ice cream was kinda meh though, especially the Daim one—didn’t really do it for me. Still, a nice spot to hang out with friends for a casual bite.

The entrecôte Parisienne was spot on — cooked exactly how I asked, and the homemade fries actually tasted like real potatoes. Solid spot for a low-key dinner in Lausanne. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Maybe a bit busy on a Friday night, but that didn’t bother me much.

Lovely spot right by the funicular, that view never gets old. Staff still remembers us and gave solid tips for the area again. Food was on point as always.

The filet de bœuf was cooked properly, and service was efficient. Solid option if you're in the area.

We sat near the window, and the waiter brought an extra cushion without me even asking. That little thing made the whole meal feel easier. Food was fine, nothing crazy, but the service carried it. I’d come back just for that kind of attention. Maybe not on a busy Friday though, it got a bit loud.

Solid steak and those matchstick fries hit the spot. Outdoor seating was nice, staff friendly enough. Good lunch spot in Nyon, nothing fancy but does the job.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is delicious and beautifully presented, making it a perfect spot for a special dinner or a casual meal with friends.

Nice terrace but the road noise gets a bit much. Still, decent spot for a casual lunch. Had the pasta, it was fine.

Friendly atmosphere. A good choice. Good quality. I have dined there several times as it is quite close to where I live. The service is friendly and relaxed and the restaurant is virtually full every time I have eaten there. If you arrive after 8 pm chances are that the car park will be full.

The only real Ukrainian restaurant of Lausanne. Traditional tasty Ukrainian kitchen and great service and atmosphere

The pancake stack was the only thing I cared about. Got the one with berries and it held up—fluffy, not too sweet, decent syrup-to-cake ratio. Portion's big enough to skip lunch after. Price felt fair for what lands on the table. Weekend crowd's loud but whatever, food came fast enough.

Super nice lunch on the sunny terrace! The brunch combo is very generous and tasty. This place is also very welcoming to families - no issue to parc prams near table, heat up baby food and a clean changing table as well

We head here most often on Sunday mornings for brunch. Our kids are thrilled to go. The staff is cheerful and helpful. Our favorite items are their fluffy pancakes, the avocado toasts, burrito and frappés. The coffee always hits the mark. There’s also a ‘grab and go’ option at the counter downstairs of pastries and coffees.

Took the tram here with a couple friends on a sunny afternoon — super easy to get to from the center. The little duck pond is honestly the best part, we just sat there chatting for ages. Cute spot to wander around if you want a chill break from the city. Just wish there were more food options nearby. 🦆

Desserts here are solid. Got the chocolate tart and a few macarons to bring to a friend's place. Pastry was buttery, filling not too sweet. Presentation's neat too. Maybe a bit pricey for the size, but you pay for the quality. I'd swing by again if I'm in the area.

The signature burgers are pretty good, decent step up from the classics. Just watch your stuff if you sit outside.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed a pizza — pretty solid, not fancy but filling. The Portuguese stuff on the menu looked legit too. Portions are big for what you pay. Just a heads up, they shut down in the afternoon, so don't show up late like I almost did.

Best meal we have had in a long time! You need to make reservations and indulge in fantastic food. Appetizers, main meal, and dessert were all divine and we left stuffed!

The American breakfast buffet here is solid—plenty of options, and the hostess made the whole thing feel easy and warm. Sitting by the window with Lake Geneva right there? That’s the real draw. Just wish the coffee had been a bit stronger, but honestly, the view made up for it.
