Been coming here for a while now, and the pumpkin cream soup keeps pulling me back. Had it again last week, still as good as the first time. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Place gets busy but they handle it fine. Solid choice if you're in the area and want something reliable.

Found this place under the castle in Ballenstedt – such a cozy spot. Had coffee and a slice of cake, both were really good. Prices felt fair for what you get. The little aviary outside is a nice touch, adds something different. Maybe not a destination on its own, but if you're in the area, it's worth stopping by.

Nice spot with a chill vibe. Service was on point, buffet had some hits and misses though. Fine if you just want something easy.

A family run place in a small town just a few kilometres from the highway. Great food, big portions. Go there on Wednesday and you can cherish the best ribs ever! The Harzer Steak was also fabulous. Plus a big glass of fantastic, German beer :) It's really worth to drive a bit away from the highway, where no decent food can be bought,-)

We stayed in one of the holiday apartments—really charming, had everything we needed. Only letdown was the coffee, tasted a bit stale. But honestly, the rest of the wellness weekend made up for it. Would come back for the quiet and the comfortable bed.
