Didn't try the food, but the staff were so friendly and polite. Really enjoyed the cosy, charming atmosphere.

Been coming here for years, and the breakfast is always spot on. Freshly cooked, just the way I like it. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Quick service and a friendly counter lady. The pizzas look great with even toppings and a nice browned base.

Love that they always have a few guest ales on tap. Tried the Bristol Beer Factory one this time – really crisp and refreshing. Perfect for a sunny afternoon.

A proper local pub. I was there for the match, and the atmosphere was buzzing. Staff were friendly, and the pie and chips were spot on. A solid pint, too.

Popped in for a coffee. The sunny spot was perfect for it, and they had a nice selection of pastries. The music was at just the right volume.

A small, cosy spot. The beef stew soup was rich and tasty, and the bibimbap wasn't greasy. The homemade ginger tea was a nice touch. Portions are decent for the price, which is what I look for.

First time here and the grilled spicy sea bass was huge! Honestly couldn't finish it all. The menu had some nice options for an early dinner, which was perfect.

Service was spot on, really attentive. The food took a while but was worth it. Solid Korean BBQ for the price.

Solid spot for group dinners. Staff handled our large table well, and the 90-minute all-you-can-eat window felt just right.

The sizzling beef was full of flavour. Service was good, but the pace was a bit too leisurely for a weeknight.

Been coming here for years, and the cheese board is always spot on. Sat outside by the river last week, same as always. Perfect with a gin. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Decided to try their veggie ramen. The fried tofu was a highlight - crispy outside, soft inside, really well done. Portion was decent for the price, felt like a proper meal. Would order it again.

The duck was fantastic, and they had a lovely house red that paired beautifully with it. Self-service for ordering and drinks, but it works.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, very comfortable for a night's stay.

Been coming here for years, the fish is always spot on. They'll even fry it fresh if you ask. Just a solid, reliable chippy.

Didn't try the food, but Tom and Bob were really friendly. You could tell they genuinely cared about the service. The room we were in had a nice rustic vibe, felt cosy. Menu for light bites looked decent, prices seemed fair.

Been coming here for years, and the army stew never disappoints. It's always packed with good stuff and just the right amount of heat. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

Bagel was hot and fresh, which is nice. They don't skimp on the fillings either, the portion was decent. Pickled cucumbers were a good touch, house-made I think.

Been here a few times. The food selection is definitely better than other spots around. Tried one of their special teas, it was a nice change from the usual. Staff are always on it.

The staff were so warm and friendly when we arrived. Felt like visiting a friend's place.

Been coming here for years. The ale is always well-kept, which is the main thing. Good range on handpull, from session bitters to something a bit stronger. Priced fairly for the area, around a fiver a pint. It's my local for a reason.

I’m a regular here mainly for the lentil soup. It’s always fresh, you can taste the quality of the lentils and herbs. The shawarma is good too, but the soup is why I keep coming back. Just a really clean, wholesome bowl.

Portions are huge, had to take half the pasta home. Rina was really nice, checked on us just the right amount.

Been coming here for years. Elsie and Megan always remember my name, makes you feel right at home. The garlic bread's still the best in town, crispy on the outside, soft inside. That's why I keep coming back.

The bacon and sausage roll was the star. Really thick, quality bacon and the sausages were tasty. The onions on top were just right, not too sweet. A solid choice for a quick lunch.

Decent pub quiz, well-run. The complimentary buffet after was a nice touch. They also did a random cash prize draw, not just for the winners. Good for a midweek evening.
