The fish and chips were top quality and tasted super fresh. But what really stood out was the space itself – the high ceilings and big windows made the whole place feel so light and airy. A nice spot to just sit for a while.

Such a lovely place! A range of items on the menu to browse on, and really delicious food. The setting of the entire building is super pretty and is only a minute away from the Leeds shopping centre! Not too pricey and in the city centre. Definitely recommend.

Popped in for a quick bite. The sausage rolls are decent, not too greasy and the pastry is flaky. Good value. Nice to see a few dogs around too, makes it feel relaxed.

The salad was generous and fresh. Their wine list had a nice pairing suggestion for it, which worked well.

The steak was cooked perfectly, but the dining room was freezing.

The BBQ combo with brisket and pulled pork was spot on. Really tender, great smoky flavour. The generous portions were a bonus. Paired it with a local craft lager, which cut through the richness nicely. Solid choice for a casual dinner.

Hermione was a real sweetheart. She handled everything so well, and the service just made the whole evening feel effortless. A very comfortable spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

I’ve been eating at Toby Horsforth for years and have never had a problem with any of the carvery meals there. The staff have always been professional so I can’t knock anything at all.

Came here for a birthday dinner. The staff, especially Eesha and Milly, were so on it. Really attentive without being overbearing, which made the evening feel relaxed. Just the right kind of service.

The staff at Slug and Lettuce are exceptional! Lucy provided speedy and friendly service, making our visit truly memorable.

A solid choice for fish and chips. The portions are generous, and the chips were spot on. Service was efficient, which I always appreciate. The seating was a bit cramped, but it's a reliable city centre spot.

Spacious and spotless, with loads of comfy chairs. I love the modern, clean look they've got going on. For a spot so close to the city centre, it's surprisingly chilled. Perfect for a relaxed pint.

Great spot for a quick bite after arriving at Leeds station. I had the Turkish eggs - the freshness of the herbs and the perfectly runny yolks were just right. A really nice, simple start to the day.

The plant-based Peri-Peri chicken was surprisingly meaty and tasty. The spicy rice is a go-to side for me.

The charcuterie board was packed with options, really generous portions for the price. We shared it with friends over a couple drinks and it kept us going all evening. Good variety of meats and cheeses, felt like a solid deal for what you get.

Booked the mezzanine for a group. Alex and the team handled everything so smoothly. The food was top-notch, and the vibe was just right for the evening.

Cosy spot, ideal for a date. The lighting was just right, felt warm and inviting. Even when it got busy later, the tables weren't too close together. The wine list had some interesting local options, which was a nice touch.

The breakfast sandwich is huge, definitely a treat. I really liked the hash browns. The filter coffee was decent and didn't cost much. The only thing was the seating was a bit cramped for a relaxed morning.

Sarah was great, really attentive. The calamari starter was tasty but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Lovely gluten-free meal here. The sausage ragu was a great change from the usual, and the prawns were spot on. Staff were so attentive about my allergy, and had a good laugh with us. Really put the table at ease.

We had a friendly welcome. Staff were very friendly and helpful all evening. Lovely relaxed atmosphere food and service very good.

Great spot for a catch-up with mates. We grabbed a table in the cosy back room and it felt really relaxed, not packed in at all. Plenty of room to actually hear each other talk!

Excellent, warm, friendly service. Food was absolutely delicious. It was my husbands birthday and they made us feel so special.

Been coming here for years, and the samosa chaat is the reason. It's always just right - crispy, tangy, not too heavy. That consistency keeps me coming back. The place gets busy, sure, but I don't mind waiting for that plate.

I had a fantastic experience with generous portion sizes and excellent service. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Decent pub, nice and tidy. Plenty of space to sit. The real ales on tap were a highlight for me - tried a couple, both were spot on and well-kept. Just what you want.

The soft play area kept our little ones busy for ages, which was a lifesaver. Staff were really sweet with the kids and didn't rush us at all. A solid spot for a family meal when you just need everyone to be happy.

Been coming here for Sunday roasts for ages now. The beef is always spot on – never dry, always that perfect pink in the middle. That's why I keep coming back. The dessert menu's a killer though, always takes me ages to pick one!

Chef Tina popped by our table to say hello, which was such a nice touch. You can really feel the family-run vibe here. It made our little catch-up feel extra cosy. The food was good, but that personal moment was the best bit.

Popped in for a pint with the lads. They let you bring your dog in, which is a nice touch. Good spot to just sit and unwind.
