Lovely service, lovely food. Should be clearer that it's in a (superb) retirement village, we're happy with that and will be back, but might not be for everyone

I was pleasantly surprised by their vegan options! The staff was super helpful and even whipped up a simple pasta dish for me that wasn't on the menu. Really tasty.

Manager's specials are a steal. Had the mixed grill for under a fiver. Solid portion, decent quality. Can't really argue with that price. Good for a quick, cheap bite.

The falafel and lamb wraps here are my go-to for a quick lunch with mates. Fresh Tunisian bread makes all the difference. It's tasty, doesn't break the bank, and we always end up chatting for ages after we've finished eating.

Becky was a really attentive server, always on top of our drinks. The entertainment was pretty good, made for a nice evening out.

The Sunday roast is a highlight for me. The beef was tender, and I really appreciated the fresh, seasonal vegetables on the side. A lovely, simple meal.

The wine list here is impressive. I had a glass of their house red with the coq au vin, and it was a spot-on pairing. Really made the dish sing. A bit pricey on the drinks, but that’s expected. Solid spot for a relaxed evening.

The food was pretty good, the service was decent too. A solid spot for a simple meal. The pasta was fresh and nicely done, though the portion was a bit on the smaller side for the price.

The lunch tapas deal is a steal. Grabbed a few plates with a friend, everything tasted fresh and the portions were decent. Cocktails were a nice touch. Solid spot for a casual bite.

The Gobi Manchurian was a standout. Paired it with a crisp lager, which cut through the richness nicely.

Came with my dad, we both got the fish and chips. The portion was huge! The fish was cooked just right, and the chips were really good – crispy outside, fluffy inside. The staff were friendly and quick. A solid meal.

The food here is solid. I keep coming back for their grilled chicken plate, it's always juicy and the seasoning is spot on. Prices are fair for what you get. Just a reliable neighbourhood spot.

The lounge was a good spot for our event. Ellis and Magda handled everything we brought in smoothly. The background music stayed quiet, which was nice.

Nice spot for a casual catch-up. The place was clean and had a warm, cosy vibe with the lighting. Felt relaxed just hanging out. The food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but it did the job.

Been coming here for years. Their homemade kombucha is the real deal, especially the rhubarb one. Not too sweet, just right. It's the main reason I stop by.

Rachel was so attentive at brunch, our glasses were never empty. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted in my avocado toast, you could tell it was just made. A lovely spot for a relaxed weekend meal.

The team here were really nice. They didn't mind us taking photos at all and were happy to help when we asked about the menu. Made the whole thing feel relaxed.

The waffles are massive and really tasty. The place is lovely, clean and bright. I just wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable for a longer sit-down.

Booked the pub for a birthday do. Staff were really helpful with our requests for the music and decorations, which made things easy.

The steak was cooked just right, medium rare with a lovely char. Staff were really attentive without being overbearing. Just a heads up, they only take cash which caught us off guard a bit. Still, a solid find for the price.

The pork ribs were spot on, really tender. Tatties Bravas had a nice kick to them too. The whole 'Yorkshire tapas' thing is a fun idea, though some portions felt a bit on the small side for the price. Still, a decent meal.

Ilona and Harry were so friendly, explaining the concept and checking in just enough. It felt relaxed, not rushed at all.

Stopped in for lunch while in Doncaster. The set lunch deal was good value - lentil soup and veggie moussaka were solid. Terrace seating was a plus. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly.

Stayed here after a long day on the Coast to Coast path. The room was modern and spotless. That walk-in shower was a lifesaver – powerful and no flooding at all. Just what you need.

Stumbled upon this spot after checking in. The sausage rolls were spot on, really flaky pastry and good quality filling. Owner was lovely too.

Steak and ale pie was perfect for a quick bite. Pastry crisp, filling rich and hearty.

My go-to for a quick lunch. The steak special was good, chips are always spot on. In and out in under 30 mins, which is key for me.

The Sunday roast here is a solid choice. Meat was cooked just right, trimmings were all good. Got my plate in under 15 minutes, which is perfect for a quick, filling lunch. No fuss, just a proper feed.

The scones were spot on, and the house sparkling wine was a nice touch with them. A solid choice for a relaxed afternoon.

Been coming here for years, and the steak diana is always spot on. Just the right consistency, every single time. That’s why I keep coming back.
