Their Margherita is my go-to. The crust has that perfect crisp, the sauce is tangy, and the mozzarella is so fresh. It’s just consistently good every single time.

The original painting inside is really something. I enjoyed reading the little description card next to it. The bar staff were very friendly and made the visit nice and easy.

The vegetarian thali was fantastic, and the house red wine paired surprisingly well with the spiced lentils. A new go-to spot.

Been coming here for years and the mixed gyros still tastes just like it did on my first visit. That early evening deal is a nice touch too.

A lovely, relaxed evening. The staff were really attentive without being overbearing, which made all the difference. Food was good, and the atmosphere was just right for a quiet dinner. I appreciated how comfortable the booths were.

The bottomless roast was fabulous! Amisha provided perfect service, making the experience worth every penny. I can't wait to return!

Ive not been in the Cardigan Arms for around 30 years. I was delighted that the magnificent decor, furniture and layout hadnt been changed and that they were now serving food. I had a fabulous beef Sunday roast and my neighbour had succulent gammon, Yorkshire puds etc. I asked for extra gravy, which was delicious and horse raddish. The staff were really helpful, infact quite charming. A good selection of beers, wines and a well stacked bar. Easy access from the street and plenty of parking. As an ex-Secret Diner, it really ticked all the boxes for me. Thanks Liam, your a great chef

The coffee is always spot on here, properly hot and well-made. I like that the service is quick and efficient, too. It's a good spot for a reliable morning pick-me-up.

The gluten-free pizza base was surprisingly good. They had a decent wine selection to go with it, which was a nice touch.

Lovely Sunday lunch spot. Cozy and laid-back, just what I needed. Had tea by the fire afterwards, watching the cathedral through the window. A really peaceful moment.

Popped in without a reservation and they squeezed us in. The lamb rump was spot on. Their wine list had a decent Malbec that really stood up to the richness of the meat. The Thai curry was flavourful, though a touch more heat would've been nice for me.

Ordered and paid via the app at the table. Very efficient system, saved a lot of time during the lunch rush. No need to flag down a server for the bill. A practical feature for a quick business meal.

Staff are always polite, on the phone and when they drop off the food. Drivers are nice too. My order arrived a bit early today, which was a nice surprise.

Stopped by for breakfast. Good view of the viaduct, which was a plus. Food was hot and well-prepared. Appreciate that they're dog-friendly, makes it convenient.

The staff here are just lovely. James remembered my name, and Nicole was so kind when I couldn't decide on a wine. They make you feel genuinely looked after. A really nice touch.

The bagel sandwich was the star - the salmon was so fresh and the cream cheese had a lovely hint of dill. The space is tiny, but the music was a great vibe. Just wish there was a bit more room to sit!

Good selection for breakfast and lunch, generous portions. The wine list is solid, but I wish they had more by-the-glass options to pair with the lighter lunch dishes. Still, found a nice Pinot Gris that went well with my salad.

Chef personally brought our food over. Had a quick chat, he's clearly passionate about what he does. Made a fast lunch feel a bit more special.

Love the atmosphere in the old converted building. The different rooms and the courtyard give it a lot of character.

Lovely meal. The vegan menu was a lifesaver for my dairy allergy – the crumble was spot on. Staff were friendly without hovering. Just a bit pricey for the portion sizes, but the quality was there.

Stopped by for an Indian meal while in Leeds. The service was quick and friendly. Food was really good.

The chips cooked in beef dripping are the star here. Crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, with a deep, savoury flavour you don't get from oil. They've absolutely nailed a simple thing.

The tomahawk for two was cooked just right, juicy and flavourful. The sides it came with were a nice touch, made it feel like a proper meal. Could have used a bit more seasoning on the steak itself, but the meat quality was solid.

The staff were so nice here! They let my little one help make her own pizza in the kitchen, which was the absolute highlight for her. Made our girls' lunch feel really special. The service was just spot-on for a relaxed catch-up.

The fried fish here was a real surprise. Perfectly crispy batter, and the inside was so flaky and moist. Really happy to have found this spot as a pescatarian!

Bottomless brunch was decent. Imose and the team kept things moving, which was good. Cocktails hit the spot.

Came back two days in a row during the festival. That cheese burst burger was the reason. Juicy, messy, perfect. Chips were solid too.

First time here. The small plate pasta with pancetta is only £10, which is a steal. Really liked the creamy mushroom one too – not too heavy. The space feels really airy and bright, which was nice for a casual lunch.
