A family-run pub, lovely welcome. I asked for a smaller portion of fish and chips as the regular looked huge, and they were happy to oblige. The fish was fresh, lovely light batter. Just what I wanted.

The ribeye with peppercorn sauce was really good. I appreciated how comfortable the seating was, made it easy to relax. The staff were friendly without being overbearing, which was nice. The flat white at the end was a solid touch.

Steak lunch spot. The steak was cooked just right. Chunky chips and cheesy garlic mushrooms were on point. Friendly service when you walk in.

Had a quick lunch meeting here. Joanne and the team handled it well, kept things moving. Food came out fast, which was perfect. Got the chicken sandwich, decent portion. Good spot for a no-fuss bite.

Love the beer garden here. It's so spacious and well-maintained, really nice for a chilled pint. The outdoor bar is always well-stocked, which is a plus. Just a really pleasant spot to unwind.

The weekday afternoon 2-for-1 deal is the main draw. We ordered a few starters and sharing plates. Everything was presented nicely, but the flavours were the real standout. Full and well-balanced.

Been coming here for years. It's just a solid, reliable pub. The fish and chips are always good, and the vibe is nice. Never had a bad meal.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The beef dinner plate looked fantastic, and my breakfast was solid. Real highlight was the rhubarb crumble. Place is super clean, owner is nice. Perfect for a fast, tasty bite.

Great spot for a pint after work. The real ales are always fresh, and the staff are quick and friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed. Prices are reasonable for the area.

The staff were so helpful ordering via WhatsApp. They even suggested a set menu that was perfect for my budget. Made the whole process really easy and stress-free.

Came here for a quick bite, got the chicken curry with sides and naan. Honestly, for around £35 for two, you get a lot of food. The portions are huge! Curry was decent, naan was fresh. Hard to complain at that price.

Nice spot for a chat. The quieter section was pleasant, though the sports screens in the other area were a bit distracting.

The lunch deal is a solid choice at £25. The gelato was a nice touch at the end. My only quibble was the wine list felt a bit limited for the price point.

The moussaka here tasted so fresh. You could tell the eggplant and lamb were really good quality. It had that simple, home-cooked feel. A lovely, honest meal.

Such a warm and cosy place. I love that you can actually hear each other talk here - the noise level is just right. The lighting is soft and the whole vibe is really welcoming.

The gluten-free pizza here is a standout. The crust had a proper chew and crisp edge, not that dry, crumbly texture you often get. They've got a lot of GF choices on the menu, which is good to see. This pizza was easily one of the better ones I've had.

The portions are generous, which I appreciate. But what really stood out was how fresh the ingredients tasted. You can tell the vegetables are sourced well. It makes the meal feel wholesome. A bit pricey, but you're paying for that quality.

The recent refurbishment is lovely, very comfortable seating. Service was friendly and attentive, which made for a relaxed lunch. The food was delicious, we even managed a pudding. A very pleasant spot.

Decent spot for a quick lunch. Plenty of space inside, wasn't crowded at all. Noticed a small play area for kids too, handy if you're with little ones. Food came out fast, which is what I needed.

Lovely afternoon in their big beer garden with friends. The staff were really friendly. I just wish there were a few more fresh, healthy snack options on the menu to go with the drinks.

The buffet was the real star of our celebration. So many fresh options, and the dessert selection was a proper treat. The staff were lovely, really attentive without being overbearing. Made the whole thing feel relaxed.

Been coming here for years. The grilled fish is always spot on, flaky and well-seasoned. The baklava is a must. A solid local spot.

The garlic lemon rice was a standout. That subtle, bright flavour is something you don't see often. The whole menu felt like it had a bit of thought behind it.

Stopped by for breakfast. The flavoured porridge was really good – had the apple cinnamon one. Decent portion for the price.

The QR code ordering was so handy! Just scanned, picked our food and drinks from the menu on my phone, and that was it. Really streamlined the whole thing.

Been coming here for years. The front bar's got those original beams and a working fireplace, feels like proper old-school. They always keep their ales spot on, which is rare these days. A solid local.

The Wednesday quiz night is such a good shout for a midweek meet-up. The host is really engaging and the little supper they give you is a nice touch. We had a proper laugh.

The soup of the day was really nice. Had the loose leaf tea with honey and lemon too, which was a good little extra. Staff were polite and got things done quickly. A solid spot for a quiet lunch.

Been coming here for breakfast for a year now. I really appreciate the consistent quality. The scones are always fresh and not overly sweet, which I look for. A solid choice for a simple, wholesome start to the day.

Dinner out of this world was a really good carvery plenty meat staff more than freindly and help full good valve for money be goin again 10/10
