Daxiangguo Temple, formerly known as Jianguo Temple, is located in the west section of Free Road, Kaifeng City, Henan Province. It is a famous Buddhist monastery in China. It was built in Beiqi Tianbao for six years (555). In the first year of the Tang Dynasty, Yanhe was appointed by the Xiangwang to the throne and gave the name Daxiangguo Temple. During the Northern Song Dynasty, Xiangguo Temple was revered by the Royal Family and was expanded many times. It was the largest monastery in Beijing and the national Buddhist activity center. It was damaged by the war and floods. It was rebuilt in the Qing Kangxi ten years (1671).
