Guangxi University is one of the top public universities in Nanning, China. It is ranked #401-450 in Asian University Rankings 2023. Guangxi University, located in Nanning City, the capital of Guangxi, is a university built by the Ministry of Education and the people's government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The national "double first-class" construction university was selected as the national "211 project" and the world-class comprehensive research university construction university supported by Guangxi.

Guangxi University, referred to as Xida, is the oldest and largest university in Guangxi Autonomous Region. I visited the campus. The campus is very large and has shared bicycles. It can only walk through the campus and cannot step out of the campus. The school has 67 undergraduate disciplines in 11 majors and 27 colleges, many of which are colleges in agriculture, and ASEAN Research Institute, which is not available in other schools because of the special location and economic positioning of Guangxi.
