函谷关，位于河南省三门峡市灵宝市函谷关镇王垛村，该关西据高原，东临绝涧，南接秦岭，北塞黄河，因其地处“两京古道”，紧靠黄河岸边，关在谷中，深险如函，故称函谷关。是中国历史上建置最早的雄关要塞。春节期间赶上表演，值得。

秦函谷关，历代遗址上重建的，只有部分遗址。最主要讲解员应该能够确切的讲出当年函谷关的位置所在，而不是介绍现在修建的如何如何。非常值得肯定的是在关楼下，做了一个函谷关的年序表，做得很好。景区内的表演代入感很强，值得推荐。
