Take the opportunity to travel to Nantong Haimen, and go to Jianghai Museum to learn about the local history in your spare time. Great, and free, suitable for children to see

该博物馆位于市政府南面，本来想不过是一个区县级博物馆，尤其是一个成陆只有三四百年的地方，是断乎不会有一个很棒的展陈，但是结果却让我大吃一惊。该馆常设展陈有三个板块，一是江海文化，它相当巧妙地把本地历史和整个江海大地联系起来，并按照时间序列展示了不少从史前到明清的文物展品，尽管它们绝大多数来自于海门之外，但有机地把本地历史置于长江下游的历史大环境中；二是著名的民族实业家张謇；三是海门的变迁经济民俗文化等。二三两项是相互渗透的，尽管也有极个别的不如人意，但是与亮点比起来，是一毛与九牛之比。由此想到省内另外两个著名博物馆，一个有优秀的建筑，一个有悠久的历史，也都是不按照时间线、依照类别或者当地特色来布置展陈，最大的遗憾就是不能让观众纵览历史来了解一个地方。而这个，江海博物馆值得一个大大的👍！
