铜陵金牛洞古采矿遗址，位于安徽省铜陵市义安区，是国家AA级别景区，距市区30多公里，原为一小山丘，因西部山腰有一被称之为“金牛洞”的古洞而得名。80年代初，经有关专家多次在这里考古发掘，从清理出多处古代采矿井巷和一批采掘工具及陶制生活器皿来看，金牛洞古采矿遗址的年代始于春秋，它对探讨和研究中国青铜文化和矿冶史具有重要的历史价值。1992年铜陵市政府下令停止这里的铁矿挖采，并对金牛洞进行了抢救性的修复，修复后的金牛洞遗址气势宏伟，场面壮观。入口处正中为黑色石碑，西侧为宽敞的停车场，北面是遗址陈列馆，西南面沿相思河岸建有题词廊和铜陵地区矿物岩石林。成为我国继铜绿山古铜矿遗址后的第二个正式对外开放的古铜遗址。有机会可以带家人们一起过来看看，一定大有收获！
