Luolai Temple was built in 893 on an island in the middle of the first artificial pond in Khmer history by Saoyebama II. Now the pond has dried up and become a paddy field. Inside was Shiva Linga, with Sanskrit seals inscribed on the doorframe, inscribed on them for his relatives who built the temple. Luolai Temple is a monastery where the king sacrifices his ancestors headed by his father and becomes the last major temple before the capital was moved to Angkor. Six palaces were built, but now four remain. (In my opinion, there are only three, because only a small part of one is left.)
