Just had an unforgettable ride on the Maokong Gondola, enjoying stunning views of Taipei city and its beautiful temples from above. Decided to take one of the trails and met a friendly frequent hiker who guided me through a slippery section with ropes, ending at the breathtaking Yinhedong Waterfall. Fun experience taking the cable car up, especially the glass bottomed cabins. Friendly and helpful staff at the visitor information centre. Nice trails for a stroll with local food stalls and cafes.
