Montmartre Cemetery Review

The first time I visited a cemetery was here. Although the tombstones were compact and messy, they were all kinds of sculptures. You can take a map and mark various celebrities when you enter the door.

Very nice cemetery, with a shelf at the gate of the guard room hanging a few menu-like catalogs as you enter the big iron gate, it's telling you which of the more famous people are in what location.

Montmartre Cemetery is one of the three cemeteries in Paris, and it is famous for burial of many famous historical figures like Dumas the size of Dumas. If you are more interested in French literature, you can come and see

I've never been to a similar place before. It's not an ordinary cemetery. I was shocked by the huge area, numerous cemeteries, different forms of tombstones and the vigorous flowers and grass in front of the green and gray graves. I am a reader of Lady Camellia, and I like this famous work very much. So I have a special feeling to commemorate the tombs of Alfonsina Plessie and Dumas. So my feeling is not necessarily objective but true. How many stories happened in my life, all of them belong to me after death.

For Orientals, cemeteries are somewhat taboo. But Montmartre Cemetery is still very beautiful. Many famous artists and writers are buried here. Most of them have beautiful sculptures designed by artists beside their gravestones, which can be used as a free sculpture exhibition.

It is located in the old sandstone field on the west side of Montmartre Heights. The environment is elegant and quiet with flourishing flowers and trees. The great souls that lie here include the composers Kalkbrenner, Berlioz, Ofenbach, Delib and Bronger sisters; the painters Jerome, Shaserio and the Impressionist founder Degas; the poet Heine, the writer Gothier, the youngest Zhongma, the Gonggur brothers and Zola (the ashes were moved to the ancestral shrine in 1908, but the tombs were preserved); the Russian ballet master Nikkinsky (later moved to the shrine).
