The monument of Premier Zhou Enlai is located on the right side of the Jinghong City West Tropical Crop Research Institute. It was built in September 1953. This research base covers hundreds of acres and grows tropical and subtropical economic crops, which gathers the essence of tropical crops. Behind the scientific research building there is a rubber forest, and there is a monument in the rubber forest, which is a large-scale sculpture designed by professors at Tongji University in Shanghai.
