Shōren-in Garden Review

Qinglianyuan is a famous place in Kyoto to see cherry blossoms and maple. Don't miss the time in spring and autumn. This courtyard is a small alien in Japanese gardens. Greenland and lake water are the center here. The quaint buildings are dotted with it.

If the glazed Guangyuan has been known by many people, then Qinglianyuan is definitely a niche attraction. This time we are the only Chinese tourists to visit Qinglianyuan. The most popular tourists are Japanese locals and European and American tourists.

Qinglian courtyard is crowded with people everywhere else, quiet and beautiful. The landscape design in the courtyard is indeed a fork. The courtyard in Japan is so beautiful. I wonder if it is the same in the Japanese family, so it is suitable for a quiet sitting for a while.

Japanese landscape courtyard, centered on the pool, surrounded by earth mountains, streams, wooden bridges, stones and so on, is like a small world. Japanese houses, sliding doors and tatami look simple, but they have a sense of space, shape" space, space, silence" unique Japanese aesthetics. We just sat in the room and looked out at the windy courtyard. The mountains and rivers in the courtyard are quiet and peaceful. People can't help relaxing. Qinglian courtyard is adjacent to Zhien courtyard. Since ancient times, it has been one of the three portals of Yanli Temple (Qinglian courtyard, 3000 courtyard, Miao courtyard) in Birui Mountain of Tiantai Zong. The greatest bright spot is this beautiful Japanese courtyard. Flowers, birds and trees are spiritual, harmonious and quiet. Sitting in the attic and looking at the courtyard landscape, it is the most beautiful picture scroll.

Qinglian Court is relatively quiet. It is a little bit away from the busy area of Gaotai Temple in Qingshui Temple, which preserves the comfort it deserves. Enter through a small door, turn right around an alley and turn around the courtyard. The lawn is not very big or lake-like, but the fine cobblestones with the main building behind the multi-storey Gallery feel distinct difference.

The reason why I chose to visit Night Maple in Qinglian Hospital is also because of an online photo. The blue glow of the earth is like a starry sky. How many stars I have here, and the air courtyard in Osaka is the same story. Nevertheless, Qinglian Yuan was originally a popular place of night maple. It's also coincidental that the founder of Xibenyun Monastery, who visited this place only in the morning, was a monk of Shadu Monastery. Tickets are not cheap, 800 yuan, ranking second in the most expensive ticket list.
