I went to Melaka with my friend during our holiday. It was such a nice place. We have so much fun together.

荷兰红屋坐落于马六甲河畔，建于1641至1660年间，是东南亚最古老的荷兰建筑物，由当时荷兰殖民政府，采用专程从荷兰运来的红砖所建，故俗称“红屋”。最初建成教堂，300多年来，它一直是政府机关所在地，直至1980年才改为马六甲博物馆，藏有马来、葡萄牙、荷兰和英国的历史文物。不过也有说法这片建筑外墙都是红色，包括1753年建成的古老基督教堂，1886年建成的红钟楼，都是红屋的一部分。

新马之旅-马六甲荷兰红屋6虽然在英国殖民时期，英国政府曾进行多次翻修，不过荷兰的建筑艺术和设计如荷兰式厚砖墙、大窗户和门还是被保留着原貌。唯一曾被改建过的是它那地下的排水系统而已。红屋的最顶层是昔日总督的卧室，这广阔的卧室里面充满中国神话的装饰和艺术。

this place is in the center of Malacca where situated in the history site of the city.Malacca is one of the few UNESCO Heritage site In the world.Stadthuys was built by the Dutch during the occupation period of Malacca from the Portugis, 1642 to 1824.There r many tourist n it is a must come when u r in Malacca.Opposite this place, u can find the very nice local dessert called the Cendol.
