从路环高顶马路沿石阶而上就是天后宫，妈祖文化村的核心。大门面向东，两侧分别是钟楼和鼓楼。广场中央是祭坛，环绕坛周边建了水池，里面放养着乌龟。绕过天坛，就是天后圣殿，祈福的人们可以在这里敬香，保佑平安，风调雨顺。广场南边的楼阁展示了妈祖祭祀用品，天坛北面的楼阁是历届妈祖文化节展示馆和各界人士参与的照片。
