Yangon Central Railway Station Review

Yangon Central Station is the largest and most important railway hub in Myanmar. Many people come to Yangon and will do two things: one is to listen to the Sanskrit under the Shwedagon Pagoda, and the other is to take the roundabout train. Almost all travel guides refer to taking a roundabout train as the best way to experience local life in Yangon. Visitors can take the old train to Yangon and the city center and suburbs in a big circle, and the ticket price is only 200 kyats, equivalent to less than one yuan.
