Yunmenshan Dajue Temple, [1], referred to as Yunmen Temple, is located under Ciyun Peak, 6 kilometers north of the county seat of Ruyuan Yi Autonomous County, and is the birthplace of Yunmenzong, one of the five major Buddhist Zen tribes in China. Yunmen Temple was founded in the first year of Tang Tongguang (923 AD) after the fifth generation, and was built by the six ancestors of Yunmen Zong, Huineng Jiuzhuan disciple Wenxuan Zen Master.

云门寺，位于粤北乳源瑶族自治县城东北6公里的云门山下，是我国佛教禅宗五大支派之一云门宗的发祥地，也是全国重点寺庙之一。云门寺，主要建筑有山门、天王殿、大雄宝殿、法堂、钟楼、禅堂、斋堂、教学楼、功德堂、延寿堂等。整座建筑物除放生池外，殿厅堂楼等共180余处连成一体。
