Zicaotan Review

The original name of Zicaotan Paper Caotan is named after the rinsing of soil paper by the mountain people in the Qing Dynasty. 紫草潭谷为紫红色砂岩，因流水经多次冲刷成槽状，而名为紫草潭。潭长约8米，宽约2米，深2米。潭水清澈见底，加之因奇峰、绿树、紫石映入潭底，斑驳陆离，水光鳞鳞，绿影摇曳。我们看的时候，水不是很多。 在这里休息和拍照的人非常多。夏天一定有不少人脱了鞋子去戏水了。

紫草潭，位于金鞭溪中游。原名纸草潭，因清代山民造土纸在此漂流而名。潭宽4米，长 15 米，深2米。上连一石潭。潭底皆紫红色岩石，潭上端溪流湍急，跌宕有声，水花如滚珠泻玉。潭内水面平静，清澈见底，鱼虾悠游其中。游鱼细石，直视无碍，夹岸林林苍翠，石峰屏列。潭边巨石横卧，光洁如玉；
