The vibrant landscape featuring over 15 varieties of azaleas in pink, red, yellow, orange and cream, mirrors the equally colourful Himalayan architecture and artefacts on display. Complemented by a collection of traditional medicinal herbs such as lingzhi, cordyceps, beard moss and saffron, as well as flora native to the Himalayan region like rhododendrons and cymbidiums, Azaleas of Shangri-La offers a glimpse of the rich natural and cultural heritage of the Himalayas.

great fun at tulip mania even though the tulips not in full bloom but overall the decor’s pretty cute! spent about an hour there taking pictures. not too many people on a tues afternoon
Flowers are a relatively small area, planted a lot of very delicate chrysanthemums, during the New Year (impression to February 10th) there are dragon lanterns on display! The lanterns are very beautiful ~ air-conditioning is enough and comfortable
A great green paradise on the edge of a bustling city metropolis, Gardens by the Bay is well worth a visit when in Singapore. The parks are peaceful and beautiful, offering a free day out in the sun, with some worthwhile paid attractions such as the Sky Bridge and observatories. A free light show happens every evening at the super trees (around 7:30pm but check online) and there are sculptures, aquariums, a cafe/restaurant and much more to discover! The park also offers spectacular views of the city skyline and the famous Marina Bay Hotel. Definitely worthy of any Singapore itinerary!
