Things to do in Mine

Amazing afternoon exploring the caves. Quite a bit cooler in the caves compared to the hot summer heat above

When I think of Akiyoshidai, I imagine a plain covered in green grass, but this time I went in the winter and it was all brown (lol). However, it was still a vast plain and I was amazed that such a place exists in Japan!!

On the morning of going to Mine, I first went to Qiufang Cave. When I got off the car, I saw many signboards along the way - "Mine Souvenirs", "Mine Tea", "Mine Art Museum"... I wondered whose property these were. . Oh, it turns out to be Mi(ne). So cold. Mine is really great. There are natural caves like underground palaces, grasslands where you can watch the stars, and cats. Yamaguchi’s friend curled his lips: What are you talking about? How can there be no cats in Yamaguchi? There are cats everywhere. Yamaguchi, a cat paradise! ! To be honest, Meimi's natural scenery is so superior that it is impressive. I dove into the cave and walked straight forward through the narrow, dark tunnel for about a kilometer. The view becomes wider and wider, the dome becomes higher and higher, and the upside-down stalactites become more and more spectacular—— Until the steps and... lake appeared in front of me. I had goosebumps all over my body, it was so spectacular, I wanted to take a picture, but I couldn’t. Qiufang Cave seemed to not want to be noticed, so it stayed there quietly and darkly. The lake in the cave shone quietly. Take your last breath and walk out of the cave. There are woods, streams, and moss outside. The warm sunshine in winter shines in the woods, and cats on the street come over to caress you.

The park is located at the top of a hill and is accessible on foot along an uphill path. There are lots of monkeys and they are free. If you want to feed them, there is a small house you can enter where you can buy food (bananas, peanuts, etc.). The food must be kept indoors and the monkeys outside. I really enjoyed this visit and I recommend it!
