Rich in tourism resources, the core scenic area covers 96 square kilometers and the mountain's forest coverage rate reaches over 98%. The mountains here are magnificent and the water is clear. The natural landscape features include mountains, ridges, forests and waterfalls. Cultural sites to visit include the Yimeng Patriotism Hall and the Yimeng History Museum. There are also cable suspension bridges, hiking trails, and scenic cablecars. Written by Li Lin and Ruan Ruoshan in 1940, the “Song of Yimeng Mountain"—which is justifiably famous both inside and outside of China—was written here.
