The typhoon signal was in high over Hong Kong Island, so I couldn't get out of the Peak Tower. I chose Madame Tussauds, and my simple evaluation is that it exceeded my expectations. The entire exhibition was well-arranged, taking into account both fun and participation. It was a great exhibition.

Super quiet for a Sunday during the Golden Week holiday but well worth the visit for my two kids. Lots of fun activities including animal crafts and dessert-making, with staff quite friendly and helpful. Some parts of the place were closed but otherwise plenty of fun for a half day on a weekend.

Victoria Park's location is impeccable, right next to the bustling Causeway Bay area, just a short walk from the MTR. The park is lush with trees, providing plenty of shade and a perfect spot for a break from work or a leisurely stroll after dinner. The park is quite large, with basketball and tennis courts, a large swimming pool, and pretty comprehensive facilities. It's always busy with children, those exercising, and those strolling, creating a lively atmosphere without being too noisy. Overall, it's a convenient green haven in the city, offering a peaceful escape without having to travel far to enjoy the ocean and stretch your legs. It's quite relaxing.

‌Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens Review‌ ‌History and Features‌ Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens is one of the oldest parks in Hong Kong. It was built in the mid-19th century (1864) and was an important landmark during the colonial period. The park combines natural ecology with historical relics. Many Victorian architectural elements, such as fountains and iron pavilions, are preserved in the park, which is full of nostalgic atmosphere. ‌Highlights of the Park‌ ‌Zoo Area‌ Mainly primates and birds, you can see red-cheeked black monkeys, gibbons, lemurs, etc., as well as colorful flamingos, parrots and other birds. Although the number of animals is not large, the exhibition area is designed close to nature and is suitable for parent-child observation. ‌Botanical Garden Area‌ The greenhouse garden grows tropical and ferns, suitable for taking photos and checking in. Theme parks such as the medicinal plant garden and the camellia exhibition area have different flowers blooming in all seasons (winter camellia is particularly famous). The park is home to towering ancient trees, including century-old banyan trees and palm avenues, making it a natural oxygen bar in the city. ‌Facilities and Services‌ ‌Free to the public‌, suitable for tourists with limited budgets. There are children's playgrounds, rest areas and water dispensers for family tourists. Some paths have ramps, but overall it is not wheelchair/stroller friendly, so it is recommended to travel light. ‌Suitable Groups‌ ‌Family tourists‌: Children can observe animals up close, and the rides are suitable for young children. ‌Nature lovers‌: There are rich plant species, suitable for a quiet stroll. ‌Photography enthusiasts‌: Classical architecture and green backgrounds have a high rate of film output. ‌History fans‌: Explore the architectural heritage of the colonial period. ‌Transportation Information‌ Metro: Hong Kong Island Line [Central Station Exit D2] or [Admiralty Station Exit B], about 10-15 minutes walk. Bus: Many routes pass through "Garden Road" or "Caine Road" stations, and you can walk there after getting off. The location is convenient, and you can combine it with visiting surrounding attractions such as Mid-Levels in Central and Victoria Peak. ‌Notes‌ Some animals have limited activity time (such as resting in the afternoon), so it is recommended to go in the morning or evening. There are more mosquitoes in summer, so you need to prepare mosquito repellent. There is no convenience store in the park, so it is recommended to bring your own drinking water. ‌Summary‌ Although the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens is small in scale, it has a profound historical heritage and convenient transportation. It is a rare quiet oasis in the city center. It is suitable for a short escape from the hustle and bustle, a half-day parent-child tour, or as a resting point during a tour of Central. If you are looking for rich animal interactions or large-scale ecological experiences, it may be a little insufficient, but its unique colonial style and natural fusion landscape are still worth a visit. ‌Rating‌: ★★★★☆ (4/5)-An exquisite combination of history and nature, suitable for slow-paced exploration.

Hong Kong Park: Greenland in the bustling city, outstanding work of Hong Kong city construction! Hong Kong Central is the most prosperous and lively area of Hong Kong, focusing on the integrated functional area of business, finance and trade, so the scarcity of land ranks first in Hong Kong. It is not enough to describe Central as an inch of land, but there is also a large-scale urban green space in Central, where land resources are so scarce, that is, Hong Kong Park. With the Bank of China Building in Hong Kong as the coordinates, built in four directions in the southeast and northwest, such a park can be called a foreword of gardening art. Hong Kong can build more than 10,000 square meters of parks are very luxurious, but Hong Kong parks cover an area of more than 80,000 square meters, this scale is really rare. The high-rise buildings can see the green park, the green wetlands can see the skyscrapers, the humanistic architecture in the natural ecology perfect integration, become the outstanding work of the construction of Hong Kong Island city! Hong Kong Park is a city park that combines nature with humanities. There will be a very comfortable and comfortable atmosphere when you step into it. Look up at the high-rise buildings with a strong contrast. This kind of beauty is rare, so Hong Kong Park is worth a visit. Is it interesting to see the sign of Hong Kong Park and the BOC Building at the entrance of the scenic spot? There are also many entertainment facilities in Hong Kong Park, Bird Exhibition Hall, Tea House and so on. Visitors can enjoy various art exhibitions, participate in cultural activities, and learn more about Hong Kong's culture and history. It is good to spend an hour or two visiting Hong Kong Park, and you can experience the wonderfulness of the quiet place under the metropolis. Not much nonsense, now introduce the relevant strategies of Hong Kong Park! 1. Transportation: Hong Kong Park is located on Hong Kong Cotton Road, Central District, close to the Hong Kong Island Line Admiralty MTR Station and Central MTR Station. Bus 914, 969, Hong Kong Island Minibus 3 and Hong Kong Island Minibus 22 can directly reach Hong Kong Park. 2. Best travel season: Hong Kong is not suitable for tourism in addition to summer, the rest of the season can be, but the best season is between the middle autumn and the early winter, this time Hong Kong temperature is not hot or cold, and the probability of blue sky and white clouds is high, whether it is travel or shooting is very suitable. 3, the duration of the tour recommended: for Hong Kong, the scale of the Hong Kong park is relatively large, in fact, not very big for mainland tourists. If you like to watch small animals or travel slowly, Hong Kong parks can reserve about 1 hour of tour time, which is enough for the average person. According to the actual experience of Yamano Jun, 1 hour is the best time to visit. 4. Playability recommendation index: If calculated according to a full score of 100, the playability recommendation index of Hong Kong parks is not less than 70 points. Because it is a witness to the dual development of Hong Kong's environmental protection and economy, it has a very good visual impact, and it is not common in Hong Kong or even in the whole country. After all, there is such a city park in the densest place of high-rise buildings in China, which must have an unusual scenery. 5. Opening hours and tickets: Hong Kong Park is a public area that is free to open to the public, and open 24 hours a day. However, it is not recommended to enter the park alone in the middle of the night. 6,
