M23***54On the eve of my 80th birthday, I fulfilled my mother's dream of visiting Mount Hua. We took the cable car up the West Peak and hiked down the North Peak. My mother strolled leisurely ahead (according to other tourists), while we followed behind, our hearts pounding with fear. Mount Hua truly lived up to its reputation; it was definitely worth it.
