Heavens gate was photogenic and a good sight to see. Everything else was soso. There are temples and scenic spot above, but nothing special imo. There was also construction going on which ruined the scene. Some places were empty with nothing to see. I enjoyed it but wouldn't recommend staying for too long.

While planning the trip, it felt chaotic, but once inside, the scenic area was very well-planned; there was nothing to worry about, just follow along. The area is enormous, so transportation is essential, and the景区 (scenic area) handled this very well. Although the prices weren't cheap, they were definitely worth it. You absolutely must visit Zhangjiajie at least once; the scenery is unlike anything else. I went on a sunny day; it would have been even better with some mist and clouds.

The main exhibits at the Hunan Provincial Museum are artifacts unearthed from the Mawangdui Han Tombs. The Mawangdui Han Tombs are a major archaeological discovery, and each artifact carries profound cultural significance. With professional explanations, visitors can better understand the archaeological overview of the Mawangdui Han Tombs, the life of the Han Dynasty represented by the tomb owner's family, and the fascinating stories behind the key artifacts. It was a worthwhile trip. The only regret was that the museum was too crowded on the weekend, and many exhibits were only briefly visited.

The location is excellent, making it convenient for sightseeing. It's also very quiet at night, with no noise from downstairs. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the staff are very friendly. Overall, a great experience!

The last stop of the day was Du Fu Pavilion, which was illuminated at night and looked magnificent. Each floor had a different function, and you could also see Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain in the distance. The scenery was beautiful! 👍

Be sure to enter the park as soon as it opens in the early morning, when Yueyang Tower is exceptionally tranquil in the morning light. Don't rush to the top; each floor holds its own treasure: on the first floor, you can see the Qing Dynasty sandalwood carved screen of "The Record of Yueyang Tower," and the real awe-inspiring view comes from the third floor – overlooking the vast Dongting Lake that "connects distant mountains and swallows the Yangtze River," the scenery of water and sky merging into one is most clear and transparent in the crisp autumn air.

It was really good show and nice spot for taking lots of pictures of the environment and the buildings. I’m definitely recommending to try.

This is one of the components of China's Danxia landform, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, and belongs to the mature stage of Danxia formations. To be honest, Danxia landforms really rely on sunlight to enhance their color, so I recommend choosing a sunny day ☀️ to see it!

This was the final leg of my Hunan trip, and the scenery was quite beautiful. The classic route was temporarily closed for road construction, so I entered from Bailongtan instead. I thought it would be easy, but after finishing, I realized I'm not young anymore. If I had known, I would have just taken a bus to Nantianmen. Although the entire hike was fraught with difficulties, my belief remained strong, and I finally reached the summit of Zhurong Peak! The biggest takeaway from this trip to Hengshan Mountain is that "as long as you persevere, you will eventually overcome yourself and achieve your dreams!" The view from the summit was absolutely breathtaking!

Based on my own experience, if you're not physically fit, you really should enter from the South Gate and exit from the East Gate. First, visit Yuelu Academy, Aiwan Pavilion, and Ancient Lushan Temple at the South Gate, then return to the South Gate sightseeing bus stop to take the sightseeing bus up the mountain. Once you reach the top, take the cable car or sightseeing bus down from the East Gate.
