Slowly climbing up the Mingshen Path, my legs were already 30% worn out by the time I reached Chaotian Palace from Nanyan. The First, Second, and Third Heavenly Gates are quite close together. Finally, at 16:07, we reached the Golden Summit Area, only to find that the Taoist priest had locked the Golden Hall before 16:30. We felt incredibly helpless, having barely made it to the top. Thankfully, we were going to stay overnight on the Golden Summit, otherwise it would have been a real shame. I suggest aligning the Golden Summit's closing time with the sunset; for example, since the sunset was at 17:30 these past few days, the Golden Hall could have locked at 17:00, and the Golden Summit area could have closed at 17:25.

盒子哥哥123I visited Shennongjia in December. Although it was the off-season and the scenery wasn't as stunning as in autumn and summer, I must say the Shennongjia Scenic Area was truly excellent. A 5-day, 6-attraction combo ticket for only 150 yuan was incredibly reasonable. The accommodations at Muyu and Dajiuhu were both good. The road to Shenlongding was icy and snowy, so I bought snow chains for the first time. I visited Shenlongtan, Guanmenshan, and Dajiuhu once each, but I visited Shenlongding three times because… it was simply too beautiful.

159***17Yichang is definitely a hidden gem of a tourist city in Hubei. During the May Day holiday, a road trip along the G348 Three Gorges Geological Highway offered breathtaking scenery all the way. The Three Gorges Family Scenic Area is an absolute must-see, with its magnificent gorges, clear waters, and the unique Tujia ethnic minority performances of the traditional wedding lament and boat tracker demonstrations. These live performances set against the backdrop of the mountains and rivers create a truly immersive experience! Highly recommended! 👍

士口人A super elevator, a national treasure! The Three Gorges Ship Lift is a vertical ship lifting facility located at the Three Gorges Dam. Its ship-carrying chamber can carry ships up to 3,000 tons, with a maximum lifting tonnage of 15,500 tons and a lifting height of 113 meters. The tower column of its ship-carrying chamber section is 146 meters high, and the dimensions of the ship-carrying chamber are 132 meters × 23.4 meters × 10 meters. The total length is 5,000 meters, making it the world's largest and most technically challenging ship lift project. The passage through the dam takes 40 minutes.

David明📷Overall, it was a good experience. The Harmony cruise ship was probably the best for the Three Gorges Dam tour. The itinerary was well-designed; we boarded at the passenger terminal, first passing the Gezhouba Dam to experience the rising water level, then the Three Gorges Dam to experience the ship lift. Along the way, we passed classic scenic spots like the Xiling Gorge and the Three Gorges Family. The overall route was well-designed. After visiting the Three Gorges Dam, we returned by bus. The only drawback was that this VIP tour was served in a regular 45-seat bus, and the bus was in poor condition and not very clean. Hopefully, they can improve the related services.

cynthia玉You can enjoy a panoramic view of the Three Gorges Dam across the way. Electric carts are optional and cover a distance of just over a kilometer each way. The Qu Yuan Temple, originally built in the Tang Dynasty, was relocated once for the Gezhouba Dam project and again for the Three Gorges Dam. The county government office and ancient dwellings resemble a small county town; I wonder if they were also relocated. During the National Day holiday, there are many performances showcasing local boat trackers' songs, folk songs, and customs, which are quite entertaining.

M26***02The scenic area is beautiful, with towering mountains, abundant trees, and incredibly fresh air! It's one of China's four major summer resorts, and the villa complex on Jigong Mountain, featuring international architecture, is known as a collection of world-class architecture and a museum of global styles. There are also some historical artifacts to see and learn about. On a clear day, you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset views. Overall, it's a well-deserved 5A-level scenic area!
