How do I get my lost item back from c2c?

There are a few simple steps to follow to get your lost item back from a c2c train or station. Items found on board are handed in to the nearest train station and registered on the c2c database.
As soon as you notice you have lost a belonging, you should fill out c2c’s lost property form with as much detail about your lost item as possible. Mention where you were travelling to and from, the date and time of travel, a description of the item and where you believe you left it. You will also have the option to add a photo of the item, which can be very helpful in matching your lost property to you.
It may take a while for your lost item to turn up in c2c’s lost property system, so don’t lose hope if it has been a week or two since you registered your item, and you haven’t heard anything. It takes time for items to be handed in, logged and sorted. If another provider is processing your lost item, a handling charge may apply to your retrieval.

Where can I pick up my lost item from c2c?

The pick-up point for your lost item will depend on where the item was found. c2c will hand the item in at the nearest station to where it was found, and you will be given details on where you can collect it.
Some items may be picked up at c2c’s Lost Property Office, which is located at Westcliff station. The office is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 09:00 to 16:30.
