Alexandria is Egypt's largest seaport, Egypt's second largest city, and a historical city. A summer resort on the Mediterranean coast, known as the "Pearl of the Mediterranean". It is located to the west of the mouth of the Nile River, about 200 kilometers away from the capital Cairo. The city is more than 30 kilometers long from east to west, and less than 2 kilometers from north to south. The world's major shipowners, including DIS International, can transport container cargo from major ports in China to the port.
