Tianzhu Mountain

Tianzhu Mountain is located about 15 kilometers southwest of Ankang City. The main peak is like a pillar, inserted into the sky, hence the name "Tianzhu Mountain". It is one of the four famous mountains in Ankang. Tianzhu Mountain is adjacent to the Han River with beautiful scenery. Scholars and writers of all dynasties often climbed Tianzhu Mountain to enjoy the scenery and wrote poems and inscriptions. The Baiyun Temple on Tianzhu Mountain was built in the Tang Dynasty. There is a lotus pond behind the temple and a square pond in front. According to legend, you can see the water level of the Han River by looking at Tianchi Lake. The pine and cypresses are lush inside and outside the temple, and the cold plums are fragrant. The main hall is carved with beams and painted buildings, resplendent, with thousands of Buddha statues, and the incense is flourishing. Tianzhu Mountain is majestic, surrounded by peaks, green pines and green bamboos, and each other. Climb Tianzhu Mountain in the early morning, watch the sunrise, and watch the sea of clouds; when the sun sets in the west, light smoke and mist swaying the top of the mountain; the Baiyun Temple is blurred and ethereal.
