The Other Strip
It was certainly a lively area, with tons to see and do. Kinda had a mini-Vegas feeling. Parking was challenging if you don't understand the process, but definitely worthwhile.
A bit of a walk from Downtown Austin but well worth it for the smart, upmarket area which has loads of independent bars and restaurants plus some shops too.

Fun shopping strip with unique stores. Absolutely loved the decor in all of the stores and was a welcome respite to the heat.
