Bailongtan

Bailongtan is a pool formed by ground-surging spring water. The water quality is clear. There are few springs with such stable flow and excellent water quality in a few tens of miles. The pool water and the surrounding bamboo forests and ancient banyan trees are intersecting, becoming the god pool in the local people's hearts. The water source of Bailongtan is cave groundwater, which is constantly gushing day and night, raising a people and nourishing this fertile land. It is said that in ancient times, Bailongtan lived in Bailong and Black Dragon, White Dragon pipe rain, Black Dragon pipe drought, so every year around the village to have a large number of tributes to Bailong and Black Dragon, later Black Dragon design killed Bailong, want to swallow tributes alone, local drought, no grain harvest. A girl volunteered to be a tribute, and her brother, who was dependent on her life, went into the water to fight the black dragon. The water was calm and the brother did not come up again. Since then, the wind and rain here have been adjusted, there is no drought, so he called him a white dragon and called this pool of water a white dragon. Baoshan Sixu, Yunnan unique fish, the world's rare ancient fish species (primitive cartilage Sixu bar), the country's second class of protected underwater fish, is called living fossil.

In addition to Tengchong, Baoshan actually has many beautiful and not very well known places, especially along the Nujiang Grand Canyon, you will find some beautiful secret places. Bailongtan, like the West Lake, at least 36 in the world, is in my hometown of Hangzhou, there is also a Bailongtan, a place to play when I was a child, and in Baoshan Lijiang Town, there is a Dai natural village Moka Village, located at the foot of Gaoligong Mountain at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters, with plenty of light. The frost-free period of the year reached more than 350 days, and there was a wide cave in the village, and the large clear and sweet spring water spewed out of the cave and poured out into a deep pool that could reflect the shadows. Bailongtan can see a lot of fish swimming freely, the trees and bamboo sheds by the pool are dripping green all year round, the crystal clear pool water reflects the clouds and birds, except for us outside, and the water is accompanied by only the soft Yi people living in this water. Bailongtan is located at the highest point, and there are two water pools of different sizes. There is a high and low gap between the water pools, so the water flow slowly from Bailongtan.
