Linhuxuan

Just on the shore of Weiming Lake, it was once the residence of Situ Leiden, and it was used to receive VIPs. The house is very simple and has a noble and quiet beauty. Surrounded by mountains and rivers, it is a picturesque place in the ivory tower.

Linhu - formerly the residence of Yanjing University President Stu Leiden (Leightan Stuart), as the place where Yanjing University receives VIPs and meetings. Former Peking University President Ma Yuchu (1882-1982) also lived here, now the VIP reception room of Peking University. "Linhuyu" is named after Peking University alumni and famous writer Bingxin.

临湖轩可以说是燕园里现存的最古老的一所文物。西北有山林环抱，东北可眺山色湖光，南有竹林作屏障，东临幽谷深池，周围有密林环绕，环境特别幽静。文物物依山就势，高低错落，功能分明，尺度亲切，远观只见屋脊，入内则别有天地，布局上突出一个“藏”字。

原为燕京大学校长司徒雷登(LeightanStuart，1876年-1962年)的住宅，部分也作为燕京大学接待贵宾和开会的地方。前北大校长马寅初(1882年-1982年)也曾住此。现为北京大学贵宾接待室。“临湖轩”是北大校友、著名作家冰心命名的。

原为司徒雷登的住所，因为临近未名湖而得名。现在是北京大学校长接待贵宾的地方，因为规则不对外开放，里面也是仿古小院，有个非常大气的会客厅。
