Nice place to wander around
a place to take children out, have an ice cream and wander around. There are lots of places to sit back and relax, and also places for kids to ride a bike.
The spot to go to have e beer
In the heart of the city, this square has a lot of different bars and cafes to choose from. Great to go in the afternoon.
Hub of places to eat
Nice region to find somewhere to eat or have a couple of drinks. There are options for different budgrts too. A bit dangerous at night, as several pickpockets walk around it.
The local hot spot
Tons of sidewalk cafes, coffee shops and bars. Street fairs are common on weekends, this photo is of an Italian food and wine fair. Good place to hang on a weekend or after work.
Savassi isn't great anymore
Savassi was a place to visit in the eighties. Nice shops, very fashionable and nice bars. Today, Savassi is just a neighborhood with no importance in Belo Horizonte. There are few good restaurants and...
