Too late in the season
The museum was Closed for the Season so save it for your next visit. Two reactors are housed outside with info. The landscape of this area is likened to the moonscape.
Close off the highway and easy to access, this is a piece of history well worth seeing. We didn’t do the tour but learned a lot from just walking around and reading the placards. The volunteers we b...

What a unique experience to tour a once functioning reactor! The guided tour is a must if you're not familiar with nuclear reactors.
