National Trust - Market Hall

The tourist town is really not a false name. The narrow streets are full of tourists' cars. The main road here is still called High St. The streets are not long. The sides are full of rare and interesting shops and country hotels. The roadside stands the logo of Chippen Camden. One of the buildings in the middle of the high street is very striking, that is the town's landmark building, the ancient market hall (The Ancient Market Hall), which was built in 1627, when it was a market for butter, cheese and meat products, which should be the ancestor of the modern indoor farmers market. This honey stone building, topped by multiple attic-like slopes, is surrounded by arches, looking a bit like a temple somewhere in Asia, would not think of it as a market building.

Old Market Hall: In the middle of the street stands a beautiful iconic market hall built in 1627. This building is not only a landmark in Chippen Campden but also a landmark in Cotswold. The Market Hall was built by Sir Baptiste Hicks and provides a shelter for businessmen. To this day, the Hall is still used by businessmen. The City Hall Building is now managed and owned by the National Trust.

The first time, the old man took a paste, the second time, the old man did not respond for a long time. We also kept watching the camera and laughing stupidly. Later, after looking at the phone, the old man's hand was pressed and not released, so he took 56 pictures for us in a row, the cute old couple. What surprised us and surprised us was the beautiful century-old English thatched house hidden deep behind the street. When it comes to thatched houses, most Britons will be proud to tell you that they are their national treasure. People who have been to the English countryside are mostly attracted by the old houses with "British hats."
