Great family day out. Wonderful tranquil place. Lots of walks and if you want to cheat you can get shuttle bus to castle. Make sure you walk around walled gardens. Lovelytea shop

Such a beautiful place. A little disappointed that the website did not bore shortened hours. Weather was poor and shuttle to castle was not running so missed getting to go. Way to wet and cold to walk...
If your in this area this is a must see absolutely amazing views we done the 2km lake walk which is mostly flat with one or 2 steep bits but nothing too hard.
